The Exorcist, The Nun, The Conjuring... when will DbD step into those movies?
The slasher movies are indeed one of the best movies, but kind of blasé actually. But what about the paranormal, religious ones? Those are the really scary movies in my opinion, and there's nothing that comes close to them in the game at the moment. There's so much potential!

Plague - Am I a Joke to you?
edit - Literally hellraiser too

Imagine having no terror radius, and all of a sudden you see a possessed Regan spiderwalking at you from around the corner

Tbh I just want The Crooked Man from the Conuring films.
Only character to me that feels threatening.

Indeed. But they lack the gameplay.
If we can kick Victor, why can't we banish to the hell the possessed girl? I want it so badly.

The Devs have been pretty careful in not including religion in the game to not get involved with drama. Plague is different because hers is a dead and pagan religion, but the Nun and other Conjuring demons would be too far.
A couple do have a chance though, like the Crooked Man from the 2nd movie.

Insideous is the top bins of ghostly/spiritual genre imo. Lipsstick face would be a great addition. Not sure how exorcist works lol.

They'd probably charge waaaaay too much for the attachment to The Conjuring given it's the most $$$ of any horror series. Like they sold a LOOOOOT despite being kinda mediocre. ( The " A Haunting " and " Paranormal Witness " episodes of The Conjuring 1 and 2 hauntings were better and they've got a low AF budget. )

Hopefully never, if you ask me. I prefer iconic characters. We have so many that still need to be added before it is necessary to start scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Eh, I think that these movies don't have the qualifications to join DBD's multiverse, not because they're bad, but mostly due to the fact that they are really just jumpscare horror flicks, also the villians in the series are really not that interesting

Because they’re ######### movies

Probably because they aren't as iconic or unique really, the argument always against fnaf is its only jumpscare horror, but atleast fnaf has stand out lore and characters that could be used. Ghost movies, especially ones nowadays are extremely boring, predictable, and nothing unique or new. Slasher movies even still have basic characters like My Bloody Valentine. The characters just don't have a lot of potential or creativeness behind them, its why most paranormal horror movies get released now and then forgotten.

I don't think a religious person would care about the representations of DbD. And to be honest, the game itself is already the representation of almost everything any religion would go against

I dont like paranormal stuff myself but if they get the license and make the killer cool i would'nt mind
1 -
if they went after a card game and dnd... they could go after dbd. religious people can be quite, let's say, over zealous...
why do you want a killer that you can straight up defeat?
if we ever get a reagan or another possessed person, they are not gonna get exorcized

I also agree with the conjuring and they have quite a few killers to choose from although I think Valek be the most recognised.
If they did this though I would like two survivors again. Ed and Lorraine Warren.

you can't banish to hell the posessed girl because were already in hell or something close to it

I think it might be in poor taste to have Ed and Lorraine as survivors being their IRL passing being so soon and it might be a bit disrespectful to put them in a game where they could be hooked and killed.

*horrible movies
Unpopular opinion, I know.

The villains aren't unique enough for a power. They're just ghosts.

Although a Further map would be pretty baller
