Goaning store house is surviror sided?
the gens are spread all across a large map, too big. It's hard to pressure gens if you don't hurry and find a survivor right away to have an advantage. (I MISTOOK IT FOR IRONWORKS OF MISERY!!)

It's large af and the building in the middle of the map is a powerful loop, I personally don't like the map. And don't even get me started on that gen spread...
Edit: Mistook the map for Groaning Storehouse, my bad. I think this map is fine.
Edit #2: Turns out both OP and I mistook Ironworks for Groaning Storehouse, #relatable moment. Uncrossed it out.

I think it is. Huge building with a god loop on top and pallet loops around it, which leads into jungle gyms which leads into shack. There's maybe 1 corner of the map with a little bit of dead zone, but that's about it.

MacMillan-Maps are probably the most balanced Maps in the game. If you struggle on Ironworks this is most likely a you-problem (this goes for both sides, there is no reason to blame the Map if you die as Survivor or dont get a 4K as Killer).

I'd say it's pretty balanced, the old version of the map was awfully survivor sided. Now it's maybe just a bit more challenging for killer than your average map, nothing too noticeable.

Have to agree, with the exception of Groaning Storehouse and Shelter Woods having some major RNG issues (seriously, Shelter Woods can be purely deadzone and Storehouse can have multi-pallet loops as well as a ton of deadzones, with ridiculous windows if RNG is in the survivors' favour)

I hope you aren't including Shelter Woods in that statement

It's not survivor sided. Legion and maybe plague might struggle with it. Everyone else is going to have their strengths on different parts of the map, and the loop on top is a massive walkway; if the survivor beats you to the window, it wouldn't have mattered anyways at any other loop, you were lagging behind.

Those are Jungle Gyms. Blue = Pallets, green = Windows. Basically the Maze Tiles with Pallets and Windows.
While I do think that this Map is really outdated, I dont find it as miserable to play on as Survivor like some other Maps. E.g. I favor it over any Indoor-Map.
But yeah, I did not have Shelter Woods in mind when writing it, this might be an exception.

Same :v

I would not even say it was "awfully survivor-sided" back then when the Window still was a thing. It was more survivor-sided, but nothing which prevented me from burning a MacMillan-Offering.
(Funny enough I had better games against good Survivors on this Map before they nerfed the Window, because the good Survivors actually played other Tiles, the bad ones bee-lined to the Window...)

There's no way that it's not survivor sided. The only question is how survivor sided is it.
- The main building against a lot of killers (particularly M1 killers) is atrocious
- Survivor spawns are hard to guess as they can spawn in multiple corners and often times said corners are on top of gens. Guess incorrectly and you immediately lose at least one generator, probably two, which you likely will guess incorrectly
- Lots of resources everywhere, jungle gyms readily available everywhere. Almost no dead zones in sight
Kind of weird you have people here thinking that it's not survivor sided.

Hm. Not really. It is just the name for general Maze Tiles which spawn on Maps. It is one of the most common ones.
There are also Longwalls (1 long wall on the one side, a short all on the other side and a Pallet in between them) or T/L-Walls, which have two Windows and are formed l ike a T and a L when looking from above.
Longwalls and Jungle Gyms are strong for Survivors, because the Killer has to break the Pallets, because mindgaming the dropped Pallet is not really possible, unless you want to waste 45 seconds to go to Bloodlust 3.

Oof, I mean the maps are easy to mistake for each other...

It's one of those tiles that is a roughly square loop that has a window and a pallet. There's multiple variations of them.

Ironworks is fine. I always have fun on it as killer.
Groaning Storehouse is survivor sided, but it's not Badham or Haddonfield level, so I deal with it. The main building windows are super annoying though, and the gen spread is atrocious (I always give up the two gens on those weird corners).

Actually i do really well in Haddonfield I always end up with at least a 3k, since it's a small map I can def pressure gens.
