I really dislike the "Dwights do nothing all game and hide in lockers all game" I was playing normally and this bill never wanted me to do gens (Body blocking) ?? I think he thought id fail skill checks or something the worst part is that we are literally purple ranks :l 3 of us escaped and I said the usual "gg wp :)" and Bill told me he "expected me to hang around in lockers lol" I had to do gens somewhere else cause he wouldn't let me work with the rest lol I did 2 1/2 solo gens btw

I've seen it at least once: died on hook because Dwight was hiding in a locker nearby. Killer was nowhere around. I couldn't believe it.

I even thought to myself, "oh, THIS is where the Dwight hiding in a locker meme comes from".

I feel like this only happens in max young green ranks, right??

Purple rank, which just added to my incredulity. I figured he HAD to be the random rank 20 mixed in.

I feel like booping the snoot is something the killer has to start not the survivor like they crouch and spin until they get the message, that's usually how I do it. it's of mutual agreement, it is a game in the end ur supposed to have fun, in the end i think it's cute :)

I hate it when I rev my chainsaw around a hooked survivor as Bubba then get called a facecamper after :)

I hate the “all Claudettes are either bad at the game and hide all the time or are toxic and selfish.”

The thing i hate the most is the judgment of people when I'm playing with friends.

We wanted to be 4 Resident Evil characters and enjoy the game (we are not using a mic). the killers thought we were going to be toxic even without flashlights and keys.

They slugged us, kept on hitting us on the hook and overall just being the most disgusting they can be.

My friends had to change their characters because of it. it really ruined my fun.

I'm tired of this stigma that every group of friends is toxic, to be honest with you.

Yeah, the people that think I am trying hard just because I am using Ruin so the game doesn't end in 3 minutes is insane.

I run UE quite often but I run it with Sabtour so if I am near the hook a killer is about to put a survivor on I can help them wiggle out and then quickly crouch to safety as they're always pretty upset with me!!! I also use it to crouch around a gen, let the killer kick it as I am on the other side of the gen and they don't see me lol! Ive had a killer walk around the gen once and if no is "around" they leave. I pop gens all the time like that!!! UE is way more useful than a lot of other survivors perk if you ask me. I hate when I don't run it.

That every Legion player is a sweaty tryhard. We're not sweaty, we just literally don't function without our perks.

That's never how it works for me. They always start crouching up to me, and then I hit them as they try, and then after the game, they'll accuse me of being no fun.

It bothers me how many people seem to hate Meg for no reason. I see people call her ugly which I think couldn't be further from the truth. To each their own but I find her beautiful.

I also see a lot of people just casually dismiss her as useless, a noob player's choice of character, someone who always screws things up for the rest of the team, hides in lockers, ignores hook saves, etc etc etc. I really don't know how any of this got started - I'm admittedly biased because I DO like Meg so much (I like her feisty personality, her matching looks, her seemingly endless great cosmetics, her love of cats, etc.) - but even if I didn't like her, I still couldn't agree with the negative stereotype that seems to exist regarding her. In the half a year I've been playing I don't ever see anything consistently bad about Meg (or most characters for that matter).

Because they normally don't. Lol it's so rare I come across a face camping Bubba - they're [face camping bubba's] mostly found in brown ranks or Hags either. Hags I suppose get the rep they camp because they can instantly teleport if you dumbly trip a trap to begin with. Recently I was playing with my friends and I did wind up getting face camped by a Hag but she was a baby Hag and she wanted to chase me for all 5 gens without using her main power of the traps. She was a brown rank Hag. Versed 3 Bubba's alone today and none of them camped. Point is, less skillful killers camp whereas the purple and red rank, sometimes green ranks use time and skill efficiently. I just don't see it happening as often as people say it does.

Then there are just some people that want to watch the world burn so they camp for the lols I suppose.

  • All of them.

To be honest, I've been playing Meg a lot recently. She grew on me a while ago before the model update and she's one of my favorites I like to play. I don't like to say I main a survivor anymore because I play so many of them but she's one of my favorites. Usually the Meg's in my games are rockstars. They usually get the killer to chase them for a good 2-3 gens. There have been some Meg's that hide, ignore teammates on hooks or wait for the team to die for hatch but I don't see it nearly as often as I do with Claudette's. The rockstar Meg's is what made me wanna play her tbh. Sounds dumb but it broke the stereotype for me and when I play Meg, I am already altruistic but I'll take on a chase if a survivor is on death hook and I have another hook state in me to spare.

As killer when I see a Meg I know one of 3 things is about to occur: 1) they're going to be great loopers. 2) They're about to be toxic as on the killer side I see them being toxic which hurts me personally. 3) They're newer players and easy pickings. I don't tunnel or go hard on newer players if I detect they babey

Tldr; I agree as a fellow Meg lover. I too also don't think she is ugly.

I don't think there are any, because a lot of them are true. I main Dwight and I laugh at myself when I go into a locker. lol

Blendettes with self care in the corner of the map [check]

SoloQ survivors who have the capacity to fail more than an actual AI bot [check]

Dweets going into a locker b/c they were scared [check]

Neas macro flashlight clicking while they actually suck at getting flashlight saves [check]

These are things that I have personally seen a lot of in my time in DBD. I am sure everyone has their own list.

It's nice to hear that. I was just chatting about Meg with a friend in another thread. As we both observed, beauty is subjective, and I honestly don't know if it's my being a straight male, a male in his 40s, a longtime fan of ginger girls (Ygritte, hello) with a couple of previous ginger girlfriends or what, but I've always strongly championed Meg as a character who is, in my opinion, totally beautiful. My favorite cosmetic in the game is her Fortune Teller outfit and I honestly can't look at it and understand how anyone could find her ugly. She reminds me of Claire Danes from around the Romeo and Juliet years.

Beyond that though I just plain like her as a character and have never had any consistent issues with any other players who use her. I hear people talk about her representing poor or clueless / selfish players and I guess I just haven't seen it. "Rockstar Meg" is a good way to put it, if anything I'm seeing Megs going for saves, getting the exit gates, always on gens, doing loops. Meg is one of the most regularly played characters that I see and if anything my impression is that most people use her very well, not the other way around.

The most consistently "bad" survivors that I see (based on how well the people in my games tend to do with them) are Bill and Ash. The only characters I've come to expect toxic behavior from are Feng and, to a lesser extent, Steve. Meg? All I can say is that the people who hate her are apparently meeting entirely different people than I am; from what I've seen she wouldn't be anywhere near the top of any "bad" list.

Beauty is most definitely subjective, I agree 100%. If everyone on this planet was attracted to blondes with blue eyes, slim body or six pack, it'd be a very dull world to live in. Everyone has their own taste. You don't see a lot of ginger characters a lot and it's always nice to see that. Especially in an athletic female such as Meg. I wish now they'd include a Hispanic character and we're golden. My fave Meg outfit combo I think is the white top with the athletic bags over it if that makes sense?? With the white skirt. She has soooo many good cosmetics, even the fortune teller one! The hair is just so pretty, I love it.

This I can mostly agree with. Bill's imo are usually potatoes. I rarely see a godly Bill. Same with Ash. Laurie's also usually tend to think they're better than what they are. I've yet to come across a godly Laurie. They teabag then go down 5 seconds later. Steve are always toxic for me. So are most Nea's. And never trust a Nancy with the little Christmas sweater with the pants with pink shoes and ponytail. They'll loop you for days. Bunny Fengs are either toxic or just adorable, no in between. I don't like to judge immediately based on character in the lobby when I'm killer but I'm never surprised either when the stereotype is proven in my face lol Meg's are generally pretty awesome though. The bad Meg's are only in a small pool in my opinion.

I understand you completely. I got bashed by a ttv user in a match once for having urban evasion.

The Killer was Legion and they were proxy camping really hard. The ttv survivor literally went for the save and got both himself and the other person downed. After saving them, he bodyblocked the doorway and I got downed. He got downed after that and dc.

I guess mine is if the killer gets spinned they're bad. I'm on the switch for reference, I'm sure you understand the issue.

Everyone who plays nurse/spirit/blight is a sweaty tryhard. I've had an absurd amount of people call me a tryhard for playing nurse when I only play her because she's fun and satisfying.
