I know this doesn't make sense but do you play better/worse with certain survivors than others?

Same perks, similar cosmetics, everything.

I swear whenever I pick Meg once in a blue moon because I get bored of the ones I usually play, I become a Meghead lmao.

I feel like I am posessed when I play her I swear.

I probably do best with Jane, Feng and Kate for some reason. Also I rarely play Jake but when I do I can loop so good that it feels weird because I am doing moves I usually don't especially against good huntresses.

Anyone else feels like this sometimes? I know it is bias btw but still lol.

I find I play differently with different survivors. With Dwight, there's an element of comedy, but also a much more altruistic approach at his expense. As Claudette, it's a strong healer role, but done as a more tactical than emotional play. As Cheryl, I just feel gutsy and want to take on any killer (oddly, she's one I feel quite antagonistic with). As Meg or Yui, I blitz around the arena and am extremely proactive, whilst as Jake or Jeff I play cautiously and plan more.

Not sure who I play best as, but there's certainly a pattern to it. Same with killers too!

Yes, oddly enough. I noticed that when I was trying to get crowns on the survivors.

Yea I get it... Except for having similar builds... most of my survivors do run Kindred/Spine Chill (for the most part) I play so differently on other survivors

Yes, weirdly enough. It's like I feel more confident with certain survivors.

Every time I play Jeff I somehow play worse than with Jane. Don’t know how tbh

It's very weird, but glad I'm not the only one...but yes I play some characters better than others and I have absolutely no idea why that should be a thing as I'm aware they're all the same apart from their audio. It must definitely become a psychological thing for me.

Jeff is who I play when I'm angry about my last game and just want to meme, beyond that I'll play Leon normally

No, I don't roleplay the characters

Yes, definitely! I always do noticeably worse when I play Jane or Adam, and I play better with Claudette, Dwight, Ace and Zarina. I have no idea why.

Yes, I am a star as bunny Feng. Dwight is a goof ball who always gets killed. Bill is a workhorse who powers through obstacles. It is weird but you do assume a bit of the character you use in your playing style.

Definitely. When I'm playing my main Leon, I'm way more courageous and I tend to sacrifice myself more to save teammates, or do crazy stuff to get saves. When I'm playing Yun Jin, I'm a little more cocky and try to get the killers attention more or play more stylish. As Jeff or Cheryl though I play more stealthy. It's a little weird, probably me thinking how the survivors would play.

Certain characters are smaller and thus have much more fluid/snappy movement. Jeff and Bill feel like piloting tanks whereas Nancy and Claudette feel like Sonic. I have a much easier time reading the movements of a bulkier male character than a smaller character on a high DPI setting.

Meg may be my main, but somehow, I play better as Feng than any other character... no idea why. I feel like I become a meghead too with Meg lol It's weird

  • Bill definitely needs a buff.

Nope, I suck with everyone equally.

When I started the game, I played really badly with Nea as compared to others. It didn't make sense. I would always get caught. To the point that I thought survivors had different base movement speeds. This is before I was comfortable with the Wiki.

I'd say everyone feels more confident with their main.

I'd say everyone is superstitious when it comes to certain things in life. I feel like if im playing bad with a certain survivor, if I swap to a new character and build I'll play better.

Yes. Just... Yes. I thought this was just me. The type of survivor I am is totally dependent on which survivor I'm playing. For instance, Nea? Totem hunter. I'll spend most of the match searching totems and doing saves and of course gens. Basically behind the scenes gaming. Meg I'm altruistic. I have WGLF on her and I'm body blocking for days. Jill / Claire is the locker build and I make some head on plays a lot there - also making killers hesitant to check lockers lmao. Quentin is one of the ones I just do best with. I loop decently with him, saves, the whole shebang. I have more escapes with Quentin than any other survivor. I don't do anything too crazy with him, I just play.

Elodie is my go to when I just want to do some crazy builds and be a menace in games. She's usually my sabo girl. I'll sabotage your hooks with Breakout. I loop pretty decently with her too, I have to because killers get really, really annoyed with me to the point where I've been getting face camped or just hard camped. I've never gotten face camped or tunnel visioned as much as when I'm playing Elodie. I mean I'm not complaining, I'm just taking note it doesn't happen as much when playing any other survivors and I don't blame them for camping me lolol I have to play her in the reindeer cosmetic otherwise I'm a potato while playing her. I don't know why it is that way, but it is.

If I'm playing Tapp I'm a gen jockey through and through. I usually have Stake Out on, Fast Track, a toolbox. I do some bones.

I do horribly with Feng, Claudette, Leon, Cheryl for some reason I dunno man.

The ones that can go either way are Nancy, Steve, Kate, Yun Jin.

Yes, most definitely. When I play as my mains (Nea, Jill, Leon, Kate) I play as I normally would. But if I play as Bill or Dwight, I somehow turn into a complete potato.
