Find the Hatch instantly!

Public service announcement!

You can find the hatch during any round prior to it actually spawning.

You can spot it by walking over the space where it eventually will spawn; there will be an invisible bump on the ground that is approximately hatch-shaped. You can find it even in the very beginning of the match; your character will appear to levitate, just a bit, as you step over it, just the way it would look if you could see the hatch. This little invisible bump is the hatch if it's not explained by other features of the ground, such as tree roots or rubble, that would cause a slight bump as you walk.

You can hear it as well, as your feet will sound as if they are walking over the hatch or metal flooring.

This is especially helpful when you know the map well and subsequently know the likeliest places for the hatch to spawn already. You can check these known spots at any point during the round, and can get an instant verification that it's there, potentially saving you time finding it at the end of the round.

As far as I can tell, you can find the hatch this way as a survivor on console or pc. Though I haven't tested to see if you can find it this way playing killer, I would assume that you can.
