why can't I sometimes choose a catagory while starting a new discussion
I dunno if ı am the one who can't see it but sometimes there is just the discussion title when ı press start a new discussion so my discussions are going random catagoires I guess there is smt tht ı can't figure out yet even in this one there isn't a catagory select option

Sometimes you are just in a section and creating a discussion creates the one for it, just click the discussions button at the top and it will take you to the, recent discussions section and you should be able to then press the create a discussion button and it will have options

Generally if the mods think it doesn't fit in that category they will move it, mostly moving feedback and suggestions into feedback and suggestions, or closing bug reports and asking you to rewrite them in the correct category, but im sure if you ask nicely they would move it as long as it still fits
