Minimum requirement to pip as a survivor (nb of gens unhooks etc)
Before they changed it last time I usually knew what was the minimum but now I am really not sure.
Before was like gen, unhook-heal and a little bit of chase. Now I can do few safe unhooks, a gen or two and a decent chase and I still don't pip. But other times when I feel like I did less I do.
I mean I don't have a problem getting to rank 1 or staying in red ranks but sometimes I have a series of games where I just safety pip or straight depip and I am kinda confused.

In order to pip in red rank you have to be a selfish survivor who runs for every unhook without bt, forcing heals on people even if they don't want to.. and escaping as soon as the exit gates are open.

Hmmm. Tbh even with unhooks, longer chase and at least gen done I can be a little short of pip sometimes.
Double pip is really rare for me now compared to before too.

If you look at emblem colors as points, you need 12 points in red ranks to Pip. If you completely neglect points in any one of the four, you need iri emblems in the other three to make your pip. A brown in one category means a gold in one and iri in the other two. And a few other combinations.
I try to aim for 2 of everything if I can. 2 safe unhooks, 2 heals, 2 gens, 2 totems, 2 decent chases.
Many things prevent this. A bad killer. A tunneling camping killer. Overly altruistic teammates. Too stealthy of teammates and you always taking aggro. Unsafe unhooks because the survivor you unhooked wanted to use their DS. And many more factors.
Ive heard there is a bug with the benevolent emblem at times that cause it to not give the correct color too.

Thanks for detailed explanation. So going for two's is the right way then. I'll try but sometimes I look at the bigger picture unselfishly and it could prevent my pips.
