The Blight Is Not good and should be replaced/changed
If not replaced, change his power its horrible. Countless walls don't register as walls, doorways have wide ass hit boxes that count as walls and you are mega map dependent. All his add ons but like 3 are garbage and don't help you.
Literally the only thing good about the blight is the perks he comes with and thats it.
If someone tells me to "get good" sure but idk how you get good as a killer like that, poor optimization doesn't even make it a fair play.
EDIT: YES i am bad at him, but it was aggravating to even practice because of the optimization issues

idk for me it just sounds like skill issue

How does walls not counting and doors do sound like a skill issue?

Judging by the way the OP talks about Optimization and having trouble with Blight, I'd say they're probably from console or a lower-end PC.
So it sounds like a "BHVR not giving a ######### about a good chunk of their playerbase" issue instead of a skill one.

No i have a good PC, it just doesn't register when you hit a lot of different walls and doors have a wide hit box for whatever reason for him and hell bash into air. Good luck at any indoor map

Which walls are you having trouble hitting? Are you hitting them from an angle? Is it butter shack? please tell me it isn't butter, shack, because butter shack is extremely consistent.
Blight is extremely powerful and the more you learn him the more you realize survivors need to be on point to play against him.

All those people putting Blight just behind Spirit and Nurse in sheer power must have some insane gaming chairs, then.

I don't know man, I do really amazing with him every single match I play, even on the maps where you slide off of a lot of things. No offense but it just sounds like a skill problem on your part.

Oh, well, then... Yeah, I don't know. Blight isn't for everybody, that's all I can really say.

You’re either baiting, new with blight ir simply really bad

Blight is arguably my best Killer. It sounds like you need to get used to the learning curve, is all. It doesn't take long. And, may I add, the only time 'walls don't register as walls' are under very specific circumstances, i.e: when you go for a scout lethal and you hit a large rock or the side of Killer shack yet you don't clip with it. It's very rare, and most of the times is because of poor timing. On that very rare occasion, yes, it is an in-game issue, but this post is more so a rant about your skill as opposed to anything else. Blight could easily be S-Tier with the right add-ons.

I know this, thats why i was trying to practice him but i will run into a wall and its like nope, keep sliding

isint blight considered one of the top 3 killers in dbD?
0 -
IF he functioned properly yes, my post is more biased towards his power overall i think kinda sucks but i wanted to learn him. Again idk how people get good at a killer that's power half works

I put i am bad at him if that wasn't clear but i think i can tell if i run into a wall and slide off of half of them. Oh but the bush or hill thing next to me counts

Indoor maps, alot of the walls on Ormond don't work for me
0 -
there some slidnin sure but u can take advantage of it sometimes.

He should be replaced by Dax Shepard

Blight is the 2nd or 3rd best killer in the game depending on the map. He has a high skill cap.

So I have a friend who mains blight, he used to stream as well.
He was insane with blight, addonless or blighted crow/rat, I am average with blight.
Just because I play bad with him doesn't mean that blight is bad, my friend also used slippery surfaces to turn more and get the hit.
What you are missing is just practice.

Collison is his only issue and even with it he's still the third best killer in the game.

There are certain walls you can't collide with, he's simply bugged a bit. It sucks and I really hope the devs fix this one day. But if you play him enough you will learn which objects you can bounce off and which not. He is still extremely strong.

You look more like the one who is baiting, to be honest. OP is talking about buggy collision registration which is there, and it has nothing to do with "skill".
0 -
Also you can't bounce of snow piles I found that out myself lol
1 -
Blight is one of my most played killers and his collision is perfectly fine except in the swamp. Op was talking about walls, so he’s not taking the right angles because no wall has issues in my knowledge

Ok, so indoor maps like hawkins and lerys and RPD can be a little bit sticky. For the most part you need to look down and grind along objectsto try and avoid collision. Unfortunately those maps can be pretty annoying with Blight, cuz it's hard to navigate through things. You can experiment a little bit, but you should use your power mostly at the more spacious areas in those maps. You'll get a feel of how to get around doors and from what angles, but you don't have to throw games for it, if just playing M1 killer would do just fine.
on ormond, there is a rock that is pointy on the top, that hits your head and you wont bounce on it from that angle. The snow mounds are wider on the bottom, so they hit your feet instead of your collision detection, you'll slide on them.
The inside of the ormond building is fairly consistent, the ouside can be slippery if you go at an angle of a bit less than 70 degrees or so. I prefer to go head on on those walls if i want to bounce, and at an angle if I want to slide. every doorframe has collision if you hit the side of the frame. Those pillars on the dark side of the building have inconsistent collision, but rule of thumb is to face them head on if you wanna bounce, and at an angle if you wanna slide past.
The snowboard racks outside the building have collision on the short sides, but not on the long side.
The small trees that are like 3 of them coming from the same root are tricky. They stick out more on the top SO it's very likely that they will hit your head instead of your collision detection that's around your chest. So to use those trees you need to bounce on specific angles.
The little fences on the light side of the building by the row of rocks: for those you need to face the fence straight on 90 degrees, sometiems you'll still slide. However if you face the edges of the fences, you'll bounce guaranteed.
Shacks in Autohaven, Ormond, Farm, McMillan and Asylum are very slippery, but there's some rules you can follow. The reason you generally don't collide with some of it is that there's a little stone edge on the bottom of the walls that protrudes out from the walls a little bit. This makes it so that your hit detection doesn't hit the anything since your feet get stuck on that edge, this is generally why it's really eazy to slide on those shacks. So if you wanna bounce always face the wall head on, this doesn't work on the short wall on either door side, so be careful with that. The doorframes are always bouncy but you have to hit the side of the frame accurately. It's easy to bounce head on on every corner on butter shack. if the shack has pieces of metal or cloth or wood against the walls, those are safe spots to bounce on head on or at a slight angle because those sports actually collide with your collision detection.
The main building in cowshed has very little collision on it's walls, you're better off bouncing on edges, pillars and hay stacks. The outside brick wall on that building is 100% slippery.
And this is all I can remember right now. if you have more questions let me know :) I'm always up for helping new Blight players.

Well, I'm new in Blight, but I've already noticed that shacks are covered in soap, basement walls have no collision whatsoever, and once I stuck in a corner of a jungle gym with no seeming explanation.
0 -
So you mean fix him because be is buggy and broken, not to rework him
0 -
Not quite im also biased against his power anyway and ontop of it, it's half broken
