I think so, at least for me.

There's a very large amount of killers in the game right now so I wouldn't say he's as rare as ghostface, plague or nurse these days but he's not as popular as Nemesis for example

Sadly yes. Its a shame because he's actually a strong killer and fun to go against. I think loads get put off by how weak his early game is but even then he's still very viable at high ranks

I play survivor very often and I have faced exactly 3 Onis this year. Usually I face this same amount of Huntress a day.

Based in how many games are like 5 to 6 minutes playing oni is quite difficult due to his slow early game, obviusly there are oni mains out there that can make incredible preassure from early to late game.

I barely see him, which is mostly a shame.
Mostly because I really prefer going against him as a swf, solo teammates tend to throw hard and all get slugged at 4 gens.
I see ghostface and nurse much more than oni and plague slightly more. I also see hag and demo more, I think I only see twins + billy less.

I always feel it's weird when we play SWF and I love getting those IF Oni's/Nurse's that are actually skilled. We could just split up and do gens and win pretty easily but we all just group up and have fun, losing or not. Any time I've played against one in solo queue, well, they almost always snowball on my team so I'm totally glad to never see him. Guess when I spend so much time playing against boring killers I appreciate the good ones... but I'm glad they're still rare

He is the killer i face the least by a long way. Shame cos he's my main and he's good fun both ways. Mines a blue Oni if you ever stumble across one late at night UK time 😉
