Please make small adjustments to weak Killers/perks faster and more frequent.
It doesn't take a data analyst or expert to tell you that Clown's changes made very little difference. The best change was the faster reload, and that is a VERY minor change.
What is frustrating me and making me worry is that Clown likely isn't going to change for a LONG time despite his changes not really influencing him all that much, they have POTENTIAL but we won't know because for some reason small basic changes take forever to implement. This is applicable to all mediocre Killers and perks.
All you have to do is make his bottles require separate totals and reload restores both. That is ALL you have to do, you could do it within an hour at most, would make him better and would change absolutely nothing whatsoever in terms of game or meta health.
So what's up, why not? Why can't these basic things happen more often? It makes no sense and is incredibly demoralizing as a player. Blight gets changes for MONTHS and ends up pretty solid even on Console, but Killers like Clown, Trapper, Pig, etc are left alone untouched for God knows how long.
Do not tell me small changes like these would magically break the game when Nurse exists and ignores 90% of chase mechanics.
Please make casual changes to more Killers more frequently more often.

Not just killers how about survivors they need more good perks than killer cause almost 90% of the survivor perks are useless

Survivors have room to screw around with 16 perks in total, Killers are much more restricted imo. But both deserve better perks for sure

I agree with this. Let's not throw the nerf bat at everything and start making perks better. The meta mostly exists because there's like 10 good perks in each side

The problem with this is power creep. Games at high level already go way too fast, how would you make a perk better than BT or old DS? Or any of the meta perks. The only way you could do so would be to make ridiculous perks that are even stronger which in turn would shorten games even more

I understand that there are some perks that won't leave the meta without adjusting them but at least there would be more options without completely screwing you over. Alot of it comes from behavior making game mechanics into perks.

Contrary to the exaggeration of the forums - not all survivors play in 4 man SWFs. I have almost 1800 hours as survivor (1900 as killer) and less than 100 of those hours have been in SWF and NONE of them were 4 man SWFs. So no.. we don't have 16 perks - each survivor has 4 - hyperbole weakens your "argument."

I think he was implying it survivors 16 vs the killers 4

Eh... After seeing what they did with Trickster, I think I will pass. They made him less fun, in my opinion.

there are 2 perks i'd want to see upgraded, and its the clowns Bamboozle perk, and trappers Brutal strength perk.
Bamboozle
Your vault speed is up to 15% (dependent on the Tier of the perk) faster. Performing a vault action calls upon The Entity to block the vault location for up to 16 seconds (dependent on the Tier of the perk).
- Only 1 vault location may be blocked in this way at any time.
- The vault location is blocked only for Survivors.
- Does not affect pallets.
(Could be buffed to include pallets, and from 15% to 30% vault speed buff)
Brutal Strength
Your great strength allows you to shred through your prey's defences.
Breaking Pallets IconHelp pullDown.png and Breakable Walls IconHelp breakableDoors.png, as well as damaging Generators IconHelpLoading generators.png, is 10/15/20 % faster.
(Could be a destruction speed of 20 25 30%)
just an increase of 30% at max for both.

What? 2 years to change iri hatchets ability to stack with extra hatchet addons wasn't quick enough for you? that's quite the entitlement you got there.

The perks changed don't need to be better then the current meta. They don't need to be bonkers. Just good, actually worth picking
1 -
With MMR coming, things almost need to be bonkers or people are gonna see the same perks, killers and add ons at higher levels
0 -
I've yet to see that. People are really over exaggerating what effect MMR will have. It won't have that much of an impact.
Especially for killers who will have like 20+ sepperate mmr ratings.
1 -
Considering we havent seen it in action yet how do you know your not underestimating it dont be naive it goes both ways

Therein lies the problem though. If they aren't better than the current meta then nobody will run them. "Worth picking" usually means you want to swap it out with a perk from your current loadout. Can you spitball an idea of a perk off the top of your head that isn't meta breaking but is "worth picking"? Undying is a perfect example of a perk that had good intentions(slowing down gen times by forcing survivors to do all dull totems) but in execution was completely busted, and you could still argue that it's insanely strong even after its nerf as it is one of the most picked perks killer side I would imagine.

It's one of the most picked cause all the other killer perks are garbage,if they buffed blood warden or similar perks people might actually use them instead of letting them collect dust
1 -
I mean that's not entirelly true.
There are perks that are worth picking that are nowhere neat meta defining
Agitation is a perk that will always help and isn't meta
Dark Devotion is a perk i will always enjoy and do good with most of the time.
Make your choice can be insane on certain killers but nobody would say it's meta.
And even though i think it's overrated whispers also is just a good perk.
None of these are meta defining due to consistancy or other issue but they aren't bad perks.
I won't burst out laughing when playing survivor against these perks unlike something like Beast of Prey would
