How would you improve "Dead Man's Switch"/"Gearhead"?

    Gearhead lasts for 45 seconds and works on all skill checks

    Edit: Just thought about it and why not make dead man’s switch a scourge hook perk?

    During dead mans switch duration if any surv stops repairing a gen that gen + all gens that are getting repaired currently will be blocked. So if one surv leaves the gen all are affected.


    To make Obsession swap better (to use dead mans switch) change furtive chase into a scorched hook perk where the surv getting hooked on these bescomes the Obsession (counts as Obsession getting hooked)


    Also predator should make the surv youre chasing for 7 seconds the Obsession.


    Now you have a good and strong 2 perk combo.

    You reverting the nerf on gearhead would be all that's needed i think. Maybe letting it work on healthstates so m2 killers can use it too. That would make it decent.

    Deadman switch is a bit more tricky but i would start by giving repairing survivors a difficult skillcheck upon hooking the survivor so that if they fail the skillcheck the gen gets blocked for the full duration

    The duration also could use a increase in time

    They still wouldn't be amazing with these changes but a lot more playable
