Hitting new lows
How can you release a product that barely works? I crash 3/4 of my games when playing the killer I JUST SPENT ACTUAL MONEY ON. This is it. This is the peak of scumbaggery. This company doesn't care whatsoever at this point and is willing to release this travesty of a killer. Not only is the Cenobite nothing remarkable and barely changed from the PTB, except for course of the voice lines that made it all worth it, but now you can't even FINISH A GAME WITH HIM because the game just crashes.
This is stupid. Bugs are to be expected with this game, we've all be conditioned to expect piss-poor quality on release, but this is the limit. I cannot even PLAY the killer. When Victor got stuck on the ground, I could at the very least play M1 killer as Charlotte and maybe get a survivor to kick him. Blight's horrid collision at least had some fun aspects to it. Zombies stuck at places is ultimately just something we can operate with. But this? ######### off. I've paid real money for this, I want my goddamn product. You've had weeks to fix the main issues, and now we have this. Is there even any sort of quality control here? Because this is far, far too consistent to have just been an oversight.
I'm angry. I'm angry because I know if in the companies I worked with in the past would have had to do massive damage control is something like this happened with their product on launch. But here? Lmao. Nothing will happen. Maybe some compensation under the form of BP that cover half the games I would have liked to play as Pinhead.
Rant over. I usually don't get this annoyed unless I've actually spent money on something. At this point I do feel entitled to have my frustrations heard. No constructive criticism, because clearly those they pay to do so aren't listened to either.

You expect anything different at this point? BHVR is the master of hitting new lows.

Give this Man a REFUND. Cmon BHVR you know it's the right thing to do.

Honestly this is one of the worst companies ive ever seen. They don’t respect their customers at all. If they had the cyberpunk treatment in ps stores etc they wouldn’t do this.

Things are certainly getting worse with every chapter. It doesn't seem like they know how to hold the game together very well.

Love the game but the bugs it gets are wildly disgusting and not surprising anymore.

Nothing. I mean Nothing goes right with DBD. Every chapter launch is a ruddy disaster.
It's just sad.

Next I'm gonna read
♦ Removed Ghost Face's Knife due to our team not caring and focusing on ripping more money out of your pockets
The small details is like part of the reason i spent my money on the chapter...

I Hit my limit with it when the game crashed me right as i was giving a survivor hatch. You can crash me mid match, you can crash me when im about to win, you can even crash me right when im about to lose. But i NEVER EVER want to be crashed when im trying to be kind to other people. Thats a whole new level of feeling bad inside.

One would think, after five years working on the game, a new character would be playable on release. I agree, it is piss poor and highly disrespectful to their playerbase.

i really want to think that bhvr genuinely cares about its community but they've made that absurdly difficult. maybe this game started out as something they really cared for, but at this point it's a revenue machine for a company that spent the majority of its history making licensed shovelware.

Did you somehow miss the Resident Evil chapter?

The cyberpunk treatment is reserved for AAA studios (that aren't Ubisoft, ActBliz, or EA), becuase they make the best punching bags due to high-profile games and limited legal funds. DbD will never get that particular shot in the arm.

Bless. BHVR is a Canadian company. And we have incredibly low standards LOL.

I've been able to play just fine. maybe I'm just lucky.

Yeah and it was playable for me. Probably not consoles, which sucks, but I'm on PC. Now this bug affected every system. RE chapter was a shitshow but most in recent memory were. But not to this extent.
Fruit of 'everyone gets a trophy' culture. Which is funny given Canada actually has high standards on some specific areas (like health, despite their amusing healthcare). Although I didn't expect this to persist once they've grown.

I think the bug's been fixed today. Still doesn't excuse this horrifying issue at launch.

And . . . that about sums up my own feelings at this point in time.

oh, well, I guess that explains it. I'm sure they worked really hard to do that.
