getting a lot of "disconected from the host" errors since the chapter release
as the title says, i got this error three times in a row already, anyone else experiencing this aswell?

Apparently it's caused by survivor's DCing according to one bug report.

It just happened to me. Guessing it's something to do with the enabling of SBMM

Happened to me right after a survivor appeared to disconnect. I'm not sure if they actually disconnected though or they got the same message on their end.

I get it regardless of dc's but only against pinhead.

I was using pinhead, with thana, and hit a surviver that was repairing a gen and was oblivious, and the game froze and crashed

Honestly I get that at least 1-3 times before the new update
Plus I haven't played the new update yet (still downloading it)

I had one survivor dc on second hook, end game. I was Pinhead. The match didn't disconnect.

I just played in the Gideon Meat Plant and was able to finish a match as Pinhead. One of the maps I received the error on on was also the swamp.

Got one with RPD and trying to teleport to someone with Pinhead. Just now got one on The Game when I tried to pick a survivor up. Right before that though, I was unable to break a pallet from one side, so not sure where the issue lies.

I also got this, but it was during the hook animation for chatterer. I downed a Yui, picked her up and tried to put her on hook but it kept quickly repeating the hook animation until it kicked me & gave me the disconnected from host error.

Two times while hitting a survivor, once when breaking a gen. It seems very random.

Ya it seems like any game with pinhead is having dcs which doesnt help solving it but it may be related to him or his teleport

It’s happened to me 3 times in a row as the cenobite. About halfway through the match it just goes to end of match screen. I don’t get it. I’m on console if that matters.

Just had a killer DC and then I got the same error. I figured the game was just freezing and I was about to get a ban like when that usually happens but I escaped from the game somehow ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

just letting you know that the issue is not just for survivors. I'm playing as Pinhead and I already got 2 error messages as well (PS5)

One weird thing that I noticed is that my antivirus Norton didn't like something new "connection" to steam... and something (don't remember the full name of the file). I hadn't it before.
Devs definitely improved lighting system and you can't find information about it... Maybe they made something similar with connection too?

This is seriously annoying.
5 Games i played. 2 which were tough, stressful, lasted around 20 minutes each, barely able to kill 1 or 2 survivors, usually only killing the second during the EGC
3 games which i felt powerful, was dominating, still 3-4 gens to go but still the games were long. And 3 "host disconnections"
Its like the game doesnt want me to enjoy it. It'll stay stable through games where survs are kicking my arse. But if im on top and gens aren't being done theres a host disconnection.

Every game this has happened to me, Pinhead was the killer. And usually it took place after he hooked someone.
