So what I'm getting from the community about the new update...
Pinhead's voice lines were removed, and he can cause crashes when survivors open his box. Many people seem to be willing to be wait with pinhead. I've seen mixed reviews especially because I did my own poll which itself seemed to be near 50/50 last time I checked. And I've seen similar things around the community. What I've so delicately gathered is that this chapter is a mess, but not as much of a mess as a the RE chapter. Would I be correct in that assumption?

His lunge is also bugged, and the crash happens randomly, I've gotten it when I use my chains and when trying to grab.
Somehow freddy is also bugged.
Shadowborn of all perks is bugged.

How is his lunge bugged? I had some weirdness earlier, but not sure if it was just because I am bad.
Also his teleport seems bugged. Sometimes I couldn't warp.

The crash isn't related to the box at all. It just happens randomly

Sometimes you go to lunge at someone and it doesn’t register it’s not the same as the other killers. His lunge is ######### right now

No FOV change, same with M&A apparently according to a friend who loves M&A, I'm not sure 100% about M&A so I can't confirm that.
Sometimes when you lunge you don't have "momentum" so your hit doesn't reach even if you are close, sometimes your weapon or well chains will also go through the survivor's hitbox.
I haven't had any issues with the teleport.

SBMM ruined the game, and seeing how Boon totems are going to be there's nothing to look forward to for the future of the game either.

Catch up. It goes live tomorrow, and we already know what it's like from the testing, and background testing (I guess you didn't notice, experienced players noticed when they were testing it without an announcement). Solo Survivor, and playing Killer is dead.

I had people send me videos of when they crashed. I've only viewed 6 videos so far, but in each video, the chain hunt was active or the survivor had held the cube hostage and they had a personal chain hunt active. Then when that happens , the bug is triggered through a scoring event. Now it's not every scoring event, but I think it happens with a scoring event where the maximum bloodpoints is exceeded (but this is just a guess)

My game crashed 3 times and each time it was just in the middle of a chase. No specific correlation with chains or the box for me whatsoever.

Matches against pinhead are just buggy. One good old fashion crash during the match, one crash after (I was spectating), and the game lags half the time when he throws chains.

It definitely doesn't feel like a smooth launch. One of the first three matches I had against him disconnected, and I've seen videos of people saying the lunge doesn't work, etc. I think he'll be cool once they iron out the bugs, but it's kind of disheartening that every new chapter just hits the game like a torpedo.

In terms of gameplay, it's not the cluster that the RE update was.
Yes, his voice is gone. But personally this is no huge loss for me.
The disconnection error is highly annoying and I got it 2 out of my 5 matches last night.
Pinhead is fun in my opinion. I was able to get a Merciless on my second match (only 2 perks) with an Adept on my fifth. He's also very authentic and well designed, which is a bonus if you're a fan of the film/s.
Overall, he's not bad.

You sometimes lunge short, or what appears to be short, and can even whiff right in front of you. He also has more autoaim than normal, especially at windows.

There are definitely some issues post-Pinhead. More time in PTB wouldn't have been a bad thing. Wouldn't be a bad idea to wait on the DLC if you haven't got it yet. My only huge complaint is no 'Hellraiser' map. That would have been really cool.

From what I noticed it's mostly around corners that that happens (including if the survivors try to spin you, that's an artificial corner) and then also off ledges, he loses almost all of his momentum if he's not allowed to go straight forward.

I had a Pinhead hit me with his lunge at exit gate and he got booted.....Worked out for me I believe he would have had the time to pick me up lol. Was expecting him to be console but really don't believe he was. That was the only issue I seen in my 3 games against him.

Sounds dumb but the voice lines were a pretty big selling point for me for the chapter because it gave him personality. His power is cool but absolute garbage to use and it was nice seeing a killer actually have their personality represented in game a little bit.
If the voice lines stay gone I've lost most of my interest with the chapter. You can argue that it doesn't matter but they shouldn't have included it in the first place if they planned to remove them. It feels like they took something away from what was going to be great.

If you're on PC use Windows + G and there's an option there to record the last 30 seconds. When the game crashes get a recording of what happened right before the crash. Without that I can't verify that the chain hunt wasn't active.

I still don't undersant how BHVR can f*ck up every single update they release. How can Freddy be stunned by dream pallets if there's wasn't even a single change to Freddy or pallets (except for their new look)? How bad does your coding has to be to something like this happen? And don't even get me started on shadowborn
