Steam doesn't let me update DBD, what do I do?

I tried to install the new update (Hellraiser Chapter) and when it ended the verifcation, it didn't update and gave me a notifcation saying "DISK READ ERROR". I looked it up and tried every method, and didn't work. I tried reinstalling the game and after the verification it gave me the same "DISK READ ERROR" notification. Is this happening to anyone else and can someone please help me?

That sounds more like a "Steam problem" than a "DBD problem". Try asking on the steam forums instead.
