why do pinheads chains randomly insta break?

been playing him all day and ive noticed that sometimes when you land his power, the chains will just randomly all break instantly without the survivor taking them out.
is there an actual reason for it, or is it just a bug?

Yeah you probably run in them or the survivor break all the chain with the environnement

the chains can break from:
1) The environment
2) Other survivors running into them
3) Pinhead running into them

you're welcome. Also, if a survivor breaks a chain on the environment a new one appears but it usually misses. Each chain broken on the environment spawns a new one, not sure about survivors but either way, it's there but not helpful in most situations.
