Why did they remove flashlight locker saves?
It's not in the patch notes iirc, but my friends told me you can't get a flashlight saves when you get pulled out of a locker anymore. Is this a bug or is the timing different now?

Imo the double locker save is the only thing they should have fixed, but instead of readjusting locker spawns they just gut it entirely.

This is not a bug. They placed obstacles just to block the flashlight saves.
Not everywhere tho.

I find it more likely they just messed up the timing then completely removing it.

So stunning a killer who successfully finds a survivor in a locker? I imagine it's because the killer is stuck in the grab position. From a ground pick-up, the killer can look away and try and avoid the flashlight beam.
On a side note, hopefully they'll add Michael Myers' tombstone kill from lockers.

Who cares, if its gone? It was stupid anyway, if there were two lockers near each other. There are many more interesting flashlight saves.

I've seen killers crying about many things but not that. Also player complaints clearly have the lowest influence on balance decisions after statistics and whatever happened in Almo's last match

It shouldnt be a thing both from the gameplay perspective, and the realism perspective.
Gameplay perspective: Its uncounterable. The killer is locked in animation. They cant look at a wall, or bait it out.
Realism perspective: There is litterally a giant locker door blocking the light. How does the killer get blinded? Its like thse bullshit °90 angles flashlight saves. Your field of view is fully submerged on the wall, but you still somehow get blinded by somethign you litterally cant see.

Because there's no counterplay. Like someone said above, when picking a Survivor from the ground the Killer can do something to prevent flashlights saves, so there's counterplay, which against lockers, the Killer is locked in animation always in one direction.
Not to mention it's dumb you can't kill someone because he just hoped in a locker in your face...

Because the killer got a successful down on someone, stuck in an animation but can't choose to bait it like when picking up off the ground, and he gets punished.

You can flashlight save someone... Facing a locker? As in a wall? And survivors don't see the issue with that? Yeah, this is why I use Lightborn and punish those boosted clowns hard.

I don’t really understand why they remove stuff like this. Any survivor who is chasing you around for a flashlight save is A-OK in my book because they’re a survivor not on gens. If they make dumb stuff like this harder and harder (or impossible, eventually) then “gen rushing” will be all there is to survivor and that’s boring as hell, speaking as someone who never uses flashlights as survivor but LOVES to see them as killer.
They’ll remove CJ techs before long, I’m calling it now. And it’ll suck because it will rob me of fun games against cocky, altruistic survivors.

It's only possible on certain structures & impossible on alot of maps. I'm a killer main, but I never saw it as unfair as pulling it off is difficult

Its uncounterable, Illogical, and is mainly used for Trolling with 2 lockers.
There is literally nothing a killer can do about locker grab blinds as unlike normal blinds they can't control where their camera faces.
Illogical as your blinding them through a door. A solid object that makes a wall...
Trolling as 2 lockers next to eachother and 2 flashlights literally forces a killer to grab and get blinded X number of times by each survivor until the killer can actually actually down one of them.

New killers who don’t know what it is, typically. For anyone with more than a few hours on killer, it’s a free and easy hit/down but they’ll probably remove it anyway, like they removed window techs.

The problem isn’t the fact that it’s hard to do, it’s the fact that killers’ input is meaningless on it. You pull the survivor out of the locker? Oh other survivor has a flashlight, so not a problem. Don’t pull the survivor out of the locker? Nothing happens obviously.

Because the grab mechanic shouldn't be a flawed 'lol survivors know how to break it so in a 2man+ swf the killer always loses at certain lockers'.
Now if it was a well explained mechanic that made sense functionally I'd have no problem with it. This is akin to crying that they patched out that stupid 'drop an item off a ledge' bug to teleport back up but on the killers screen drop off.

Most jungle gyms is and was possible, shack 1 locker was possible hell you were also able to do it from the second locker if there was a crack on the side, LTs also is possible (but honestly if you don't see it as a killer then my friend you are the problem)
Haddonfence also was possible on the myers house, badham as well with the exception of the fun house.
Mother's dwelling and temple of purgation also was possible, even from the "ormond tile", also in ormond most lockers it is possible with the exception of that weird tile that doesn't have a locker.
So saying certain is almost a lie, most tiles that have a locker it is possible.
The counter was to continue grabbing them until they ran out of batteries, what a counter!

I have no problems with locker saves, but survivors kind of brought this upon themselves doing those double locker FL saves mOnTaGeS.

If they've seriously removed this then it's quite dumb imo.
A lot of people would rather mess around with flashlights than do gens so all your doing is making more people do gens. Even killers who run Lightborn just make survivors who want to not do gens, do gens.
This and removing pallet reverses are really removing the fun things survivors can do. Just leaving gens.

Not in a double locker set up as one flashlight survivor is in both so grabbing either gives them the flashlight save for free and there is literally nothing you can do about it.

This is the reason for most Survivor "nerfs". One person finds a neat way to abuse a mechanic, everyone else has to do it for the views and subs. More attention = quicker fixes, and the Survivors who do these things just shoot themselves in the foot then complain about it on the Forums. Usually with dramatic statements like "I'll never play again if this doesn't go back in the game!" or similar. Then you see the player base increase yet again.

You can't slug someone when they are in a locker without grabbing them out which is the issue. You are forced to grab someone out of the locker and then get flashlight saved. Also sure let me go switch Lightborn on in the middle of the match.
The reason why it got changed was there was nothing a killer could do once in the match if survivors wanted to locker save.

You can't slug when both survivors are in the locker. If you catch one, the other will flashlight save and this will repeat till the flashlight has no battery. Got it?

Actually as trapper you can trap the locker. As doctor you can get them to madness 3 to avoid the blind. You can also look around the area as well.

For most killers they can't do stuff for the double locker flashlights. Imo if you could only do the one locker flashlight save they wouldn't have removed it, but 2 survivors is too much.

I see some people lost, this is how locker saves got patched, by adding barrels
EDIT: you can see here there is just a single locker, you can slug the flashlight holder before trying to go for the locker person, it's perfectly counterable and not the double lockers case

Indeed I had been flashlighted looking to a wall and getting blinded and I couldnt even see the light.
