What is your goal in DbD?

I asked this questions some months ago and got interesting replies. Sone said they go for winstreaks. But now with the mmr, its a lot harder to go for winstreaks. So i lost my goal. Or you could rather say i have no way to measure my skill with every killer anymore, not that winstreaks were really optimal.
So what goals have you? Did MMR change anything for you in this regard?

Play long enough to level up the battlepass since matches are lasting longer for me

I don't really have any goals. I just play DbD to run around as my favorite horror icons like Myers, Freddy, Ghostface, and Leatherface. Or maybe just as some other twisted slasher like Doc or Legion.
For me, it's just the "horror fantasy," nothing more.
MMR hasn't changed that concept for me. I'm still not going to worry about kills or the meta.

On a non joking note, if i did have an actual goal it would be to be at the top of the nemesis leader board. its my only true goal, i wanna be the worlds best nemesis.

Not necessarily in that order, however honestly the idea of having fun playing this game atm is a meme at this point seeing as each patch just gets worse and the community exacerbates the problems by playing into them a ton, too.

To eventually have the willpower to beat the addiction that is DBD and uninstall because this game is actually not fun anymore backed by developers who are both immoral and incompetent at their jobs.

I have a feeling they might be "passing the torch" to her granddaughter, Allyson, if they do that. Now, I don't believe they would kill Laurie before Halloween Ends, but if they do do that in Kills, we do have trailer scenes where Allyson has his mask and is taunting him to come and take it. So, from what we've seen so far, they seem to be setting her up to confront him.
By the way, if you didn't hear yet, Screenrant announced that Halloween Kills hits both theaters and streaming (on Peacock) on the same day, October 15th. Despite originally pushing for a theater-only release (thus the delay from October 2020 to October 2021) thanks to Delta variant Universal and Blumhouse decided to do both at the same time.

To do stuff and have fun. It's not like the game is or will ever be fair and balanced, so screw competitiveness.

My goal when going into a trial as survivor is to do my best. I can still enjoy a match if I don't escape if I played well. I feel even more satisfied if my teammates play well. As long as everyone does a decent job on gens and running and doesn't throw, I have a good time.

For me? It used to be about sweating all my games and not ever wanting to lose and getting beyond angry every game.
But that was quite some time ago and I've changed a lot concerning this game. For the better thankfully,
So I play just to have fun and get better but not in an extremely competitive sense. I main huntress and wanna master her hatchets as much as I can, not sweat every match and have no fun etc... cause that's how I used to be.
With sbmm now, on console I can try to learn new killers that are more difficult like Nurse or Blight etc... so that's another goal.
P3 level 50, all perks. On the characters that I want.
Part of me wants to prestige all my killers though, not for survivors. Only the survivors I play but yeah I got a lot to keep me going.
Dbd will always be a mess but I'll still always love it and play it until it dies one day(maybe).

It was to have fun but after reaching red ranks and remaining there it became about winning, aka: escaping the match or killing everyone.

I want to p3 max perk all killers. thats kinda it, then just have fun with builds that dont include bbq, bc i wont need all the bp i can get.

This is probably cringy, but I want to become one of the best Trickster players. Decided upon his release I was going to play only him until the game dies because he's that much fun to me and I never dedicated myself to becoming an expert on a single killer. But it's hard for people to know my name and associate it with one of the best Trickster players if I'm not streaming or putting out videos of some sort so I'm thinking on becoming a DBD streamer to help with that :)

Nah honestly that's really cool. I think you should totally go for it! As much as I don't like him, it's nice to see people wanna master certain killers.
I wanna be up there in the huntress category on console myself since she's more difficult on console.

I like jumpscaring survivors, would love to have emotes for killers also, like how spirit screams when she's idle in the menu, would unphase, then emote scream. Would be great. Like scratched spirit Meyers, just to be around every corner that people run to. That one add on for Hag that keeps you from teleporting to traps, but also blocks survivor movement, they never see you coming from behind them after they couldn't pass through what they thought was you. :)

I love levelling in games, huge rpg fan, so my goal is to get everyone to p3-50 then I'll just keep raising my devotion level as high as I can. I just wish it did something instead of just shards though.
Apart from that my goal is just to have fun.

Fun. Just pure casual fun. forget competitive, forget a lot of bugs and weird dev decisions, forget the loss of the Stranger Things license (that hurt), I just want to casually have fun, in a casual environment.

Playing 9 hooks as killer and getting in as many chases as possible because that's the only time the game becomes fun.
Also just playing whatever killer with whatever build i feel like using.

as survivor main .. i try to not getting more than 8 streak lose
i get daily 6-8 streak lose

If I had fun, double pip, pip, or black pip. As survivor if it feels like I rescued someone, or did well for my team that's a win even if I depip. As Killer, if I had fun, double pip, pip, or black pip. I normally just leave chat closed as Killer, because there is no longer any point talking to Survivors after game, they will always be toxic.

Right now my goal is to level every character to level 50 prestige 3, after that I guess I have no real motives other than having fun in the game. Oh and also going for every single achievement, I really like to 100% games I really enjoy!

I just play for the occasional fun until I get frustrated enough.

To have fun and entertain people. I have every survivor/killer at 50 with every perk. I have a few P3's that I play mainly. I just play to have fun. Never tried for win streaks or anything like that. That's my goal in basically every game I play though...to have fun.

Yes, on the leaderboards you can search by kills on specific killers. My end goal is to have the most kills on nemesis, but it likely won't ever happen because i pretty frequently meme or let people go.

I feel like at this point, my goal would be to master Demo, and to spread the love and joy that is Demogorgon to all the Survivors in the Entity's Realm.

Ah, that's the same as me. I actually got to the point where I had all killers at P3 with all T3 perks unlocked around a year ago. But every time they add a new killer it gets harder and harder to do. I still haven't managed to P3 all the survivors yet. I think I'm only at 5 of them. And I only have all T3 perks on Bill.
I apparently lucked out with the achievements by doing the most difficult ones back when they weren't as difficult. Now I'm down to Taking One for the Team and the 3 new Hellraiser ones that got added.
