Who would win in a fight? Trapper or Pig?
Based on lore and in game powers, who would win in a fight to the death? Added rule for this fight; 5 minute prep time for Trapper, but he has an RBT active on his head once the fight commences. This is a timed fight of 150 seconds. Either Trapper wins, or loses after times up, or loses before times up from Pig.

pig wins regardless cause she can just avoid traps and wait out timer, she also has the stealth option and has experience ambushing people <saw movies>. Trapper even with the setup has no way to force confrontation.

Without entity powers? Trapper of course, he is 2x bigger than she is lol

I don't know enough about Amanda from the movies, so I don't know if she... like... knows martial arts or anything?
But assuming not, it's Trapper through & through.
I don't think you can mix lore and game rules, those are basically the two opposite settings that you would pick one for in the scenario. Either game rules, or lore rules.
But that being said, I think it's Trapper regardless of which ruleset you pick, lol.

Trapper, it's not even a fair fight. Amanda has to overcome every advantage he has in order to put a trap on his head. He's bigger and stronger, which matters quite a bit. His weapon gives him a range advantage over her blade, and he's likely got a much higher pain tolerance.

Trapper.
Need I remind you that Amanda couldn't stand up to a guy who has the reflexes of a snail in one of the SAW movies?
3 -
Amanda was just a normal woman in the Saw movies. There was nothing extraordinary about her physically or otherwise. She was very much under the influence of Jigsaw.
Trapper would easily win.

more than likely evan. the reason being because of his hyper-aggressive personality and build, as well as him having more to work with
amanda is more of a loyalist than someone who went out and SOUGHT to kill someone personality, and she's more stealth reliant and ambush-heavy, but she isnt as strong as evan is. ^^'

Evan was about the size of David when he was still a survivor I believe.

Trapper would body pig easily even without his traps
1 -
But he starts the match with a trap already on his head. That means he would have to run around to the boxes to try and remove it. She could wait and just see if he fails and his head explodes, without even confronting him. Or she could attack him while he has his hands in one of the boxes. Game over.

The Trapper is a hulking beast, probably about 6 feet and 275 pounds of muscle. As much as I love Amanda (and I really do), that poor girl is probably 110 pounds soaking wet. All Trapper would need to do is grab a hold of her and throw her across Macmillan. Game over.

This is such a mood

Amanda's not much of a badass in the Saw movies. She gets her scheiße wrecked by a disfigured man knocking on death's door in that hallway fight. Then the whole pit of needles thing.
She'd only have a chance against Trapper if the odds were in her favor or if he went after John and she went into a rage or something.

Evan slowly awakes, his eyes adjusting to the bright lights of the bathroom. He's disoriented as he slowly rises to his feet. His vision is still impaired. He feels a pain in the left side of his chest. He rests his left elbow against then flith-stained white wall and takes a couple of deep breaths. He goes to touch his face with his right hand. But he doesn't feel the comforting bone of his mask. He doesn't feel the rough flesh of his face. He feels metal. A metallic mask of torture. A trap. The Trapper caught in an trap. How ironic, thought Evan.
After a few more minutes, Evan regains his full vision. He stands up straight from the wall. He looks around the bathroom. Decomposed bodies lay on the floor. One has it's leg cuffed to a pipe. There is also a severed foot on the dirty tile floor.
Evan steps toward the open doorway. As he leaves the room, he notices a television/VHS recorder on a desk with video tape next to it. "Evan Macmillan" is written on the tape's label. Evan slips the video in to the recorder.
A sinister puppet appears on the screen. A distorted voice is delivers a message:
"Hello Evan. I want to play a game. You've gained great pleasure in catching victims in your bear traps...but today it is you who is the victim. The device on your head is a bear trap. But a reverse bear trap. The timer is fixed at 150 seconds. Once the timer expires...your head will be ripped open..."
Evan grunts in angry and attempts frantically to remove the macabre head piece. The voice continues:
"...but there is a way of escaping this trap. There is literally a key to freedom. All you have to do is defeat my current protege...who has is in possession of the key. The key to her heart. She is also playing with similar rules. You see...this is not only your test...it is her's aswell. Live or die, Evan...make your choice."
Evan suddenly hears a loud ticking noise. It was coming from the reverse bear trap. Evan tries to wrench the trap from his head. As he does, he hears a strange growl...then a rush of pain to his abdomen. He falls down, knocking over a collection of mannequins. As he clutches his wound, he looks up. A figure wearing a crude pig mask stares down at him. The figure has a weapon attached to her right hand...the blade dripping with Evan's own blood. Evan notices that his attacker has something around her neck...a collar...with what looks like some kind of syringes attached...pointing toward the Pig's throat.
The Pig wastes no time continuing her assualt on the injured Trapper. She lunges at Evan with her blade. Evan manages to grab her wrist and hold off her attack.
"GIVE ME THE KEY! GIVE IT TO ME! GIVE IT TO ME NOW!!!" screams the Pig in a rage-filled voice. Evan snarls, places his boot in the Pig's chest and kicks her off. The pig flies hard back first in to a toolbench, letting out a high pitched squeak. She then falls to the floor in a heap.
Evan rises up, his fury overflowing. He strides toward the incapacitated Pig...and then he notices...in a bundle on the floor...a familiar old sack. Evan opens the sack to find a pleasant surprise: his rusty, blood-stained machete and a bear trap. The bear trap still had hunks of flesh from his last victim.
Despite the ticking of the timer...Evan smiles as he turns to the groaning Pig. He looks down at his fallen adversary. His opponent. The pig looks up at him, pulling off her mask. A tearful woman is revealed. Her eye shadow running down her cheeks. She pleads with Evan. "Please...there's acid in these syringes...I don't want to die...like that."
Evan knew time was of the essence. But could not resist the opportunity to take a life in a brutal manner. He quickly places his own bear trap on the floor, opening it...and then drags Amanda's head toward it. Amanda panics, as a sinister smile appears on Evan's face. The Trapper slams Amanda's head downward and the jaws of the trap close around her head.
In utter shock, Amanda's body twitches and struggles. Evan turns his prey over and stabs down with his machete in to Amanda's heart. He plunges his hand in to the fresh wound...finding the key.
Evan unlocks the reverse bear trap...seconds before it opens...seconds from death. Amanda's trap goes off...but she's already dead.
Evan puts his bloody hand over his own heart and stares down at the remains of The Pig. "Game over." says Evan...grinning.
WINNER: THE TRAPPER.

Trapper would never be able to get RBT off because his arms are too big. But i think trapper would also be able to kill pig easily, but then he would die from RBT. So, if you're feeling generous it's a tie if you want to be fair trapper wins because he lived the longest.
1 -
If Trapper starts with an RBT, Pig wins no question. She just has to play keepaway. Without it, I'd say Trapper wins if he gets a bit of prep time.
1 -
Trapper will Boop the Snoot, the key will drop and he’s be free and then go slaughter Piggy.
0 -
Trapper's getting demolished by pig. Need I remind people she was smart enough to engineer saw traps?
0 -
Even then... I don't think it's no question. Trapper is just as fast as pig. He can catch up eventually, and amanda is dead the second he does. All that matters is how long that will take.
But without the rbt already in place, amanda has literally no chance. Evan can probably raise her from the ground with 1 hand.
Honestly, trapper vs hag would be a more interesting fight. And wouldn't require to give one of them that big of an advantage from the start
2 -
Just wanted to give Pig a chance is all. In a normal fight, would have been almost impossible to get an RBT on any killers physically stronger than her.
1 -
We all know wins....
0 -
Did you draw this? Looks awesome.
0 -
If Trapper is just as fast as Pig, then Trapper is not closing distance. Ergo, he is not catching up and dies in 2.5 minutes. Pig wins, no question.
0 -
In a straight up fight? Trapper wins, no contest.
If Trapper has to get his RBT off, he dies. Pig just goes and hides somewhere with no terror radius.
0 -
Trapper wins regardless of setup time. Assuming they aren't in an infinitely large box all Trapper has to do is corner Pig and then its just murder.
If there is setup time then Trapper just corrals The Pig she gets trapped and dies.

Given that trapper is like 7 feet tall on par with michael, amanda would get her neck chopped off

That's like saying that Stephen Hawking would've beaten Muhammad Ali in a fistfight, because, you know, Stephen was a very smart guy.
3 -
How much prep time is Hawking getting?

I'm amazed at how many people are saying Trapper would win. If he's starting with a reverse bear trap on his head, then he's kind of screwed from the get go. Especially if you take Amanda's personality into account and that she wouldn't provide him an actual means of escaping it. Trapper is pretty much dead in this scenario. I think he has more chance of a draw by killing Amanda as well rather than actually winning.

you cut corners. pig gets cornered. the world isn't an infinite straight line
0 -
45 kg petite woman vs tall badass man, both of them having traps ... well, the pig will not win!
0 -
This is the most amazing work even if it is dissing my girl 🐷🙌💖 but I agree Amanda would get lefty smacked so hard lmao
0 -
The world isn't an infinite straight line, but Trapper doesn't have an infinite amount of time. Trapper has 2.5 minutes to not die. It is not hard to play keepaway for 2.5 minutes. Even if you go "Trapper can corner Pig," Pig is one of the hidey killers. When you factor in the time spent just looking for Pig and then the time spent trying to catch her, it's no question that Pig can stretch it out long enough to make sure the Trap kills.

so, not only is trapper with a RBT, but pig is also hiding and the place she's hiding leads to a very big chase?
if you wanna stack the chances in her favour that much go ahead... but don't forget that it can go both ways.
now trapper has traps set up everywhere, the place they are fighting has very small corridors where you can't dodge a bear trap and trapper is right in front of pig, plus the jigsaw boxes are very close.
see? it's just silly. no point in stacking stuff like that. they are just a bunch of what ifs. they don't matter. do you disagree with the statement that if trapper gets his hands on pig she has no chance?
1 -
Only one of those things can be argued to be stacking the odds in her favor (the head trap, obviously). The rest are just things that are prone to happen. You're assuming I'm going out of my way to skew things in Pig's favor. I'm assuming we're in one of the in-game maps. That's why I said Pig wins with head trap and Trapper probably wins with no head trap.
And no, I don't disagree that Trapper wins if he gets his hands on Pig.
0 -
great. since you don't disagree on that, do you agree with
- If pig is being chased by trapper, some % of times, trapper will catch her
- If pig is hiding around trapper, some % of times, trapper will find her
because if you agree on both, then we go back to what you said "If Trapper starts with an RBT, Pig wins no question.". because now we clearly shown that there are scenarios that even with a rbt on, trapper still wins.
0 -
Maybe in the literal sense where "some % of times" means "more than actual zero" but not "a decent amount of time", to be honest. I won't say it will NEVER happen because that's just statistically super improbable, but it won't happen a meaningful amount of the time IMO. I'll say this: I think the % of times where both end up happening is miniscule enough that I would say that Pig is very highly favored if Trapper starts with a Reverse Bear Trap. Maybe "no question" is a bit of a stretch, but I do think that if the RBT is in play from the start, the situation is heavily in Pig's favor.
