SBMM = killers standing at the hook
This happened every time SBMM a happened, camping the hook became even more common than it already is. It’s going to get boring quick if this keeps up, as I already know how the game is going to go before it happens.

For me, it's my teammates killing themselves on first hook to lower their MMR. Last game was a 2 man escape, but the first guy to get hooked killed himself on hook immediately. So how would that game have gone if he got saved?

Had the same too. My teammates will never take a hit for me.

Camping from the first Hook or a killer at endgame securing a kill ?
Need more context.

Whenever they feel like they lost, varies from game to game.

I've had an exponential increase of being left on the first hook. Which is... Fun.
And end game camping, but that's more understandable.

I don't want to say that I warned everyone, but...
I did.

I only had 2 campers since SBMMr came out and one was a Pinhead who was obviously new, struggled to get a down and ended up camping and another was just a lazy huntress. Every other match had decent killers who didn’t tunnel or camp unless it was endgame and all gens were done.
SBMMr made my matches much better than what they used to be.

If I play solo I get better killers and teammates than if I play swf with 1 other.
Solo teammates working together and killers if they don't get a kill atleast have everyone on death hook. Killers leave hook unless survivor is obviously at hook. It feels like good even match up.
SWF either have killer hanging out by the hook while teammates are on other side (atleast one random hiding in corner for the entire time) or killer does leave hook to chase my teammate while the 2 randoms are doing nothing. Killer usually gets 4k or 3k with hatch not because they played well but because 2 of 4 survivors just aren't doing anything to escape like work on gens or go for safe unhooks.
Don't know why there is such a difference in match up between when I'm solo and when I am in swf.

I agree.
Just played 5-6 matches. Every single bloody Killer is camping and tunneling from the first survivor they down. Either I have to give up this game, or I have to find an SWF because that seems to be the only way to have fun now (or so I hear).

So did I.

I went from a killer that probably had less than 10 matches to a god nurse. It’s disgustingly bad matchmaking and highly inconsistent.

This is anecdotal (as are all comments regarding stuff like this) but I've seen two face campers. Two. That's two games since the SBMM was enabled, two game out of probably 75.
One camper was Ghostface. Anyone wanna guess who the other one was?
1 -
So no different than the old matchmaking? Because that’s all the old one did for me, put me against rank 1 killer after rank 1 killer that I obviously couldn’t compete with.
1 -
Not everytime but ironically this did happen to me just last game, lmao.
Though I think hearing three gens pop in a row might've pushed him beyond the limit

Nah, I am too damn lazy to find it. Feel free to search for it if ya want to.

At high MMR where survivors genrush, there is no way to hook everyone 12 times. Survivors are also abusing stretched resolutions so its impossible to mindgame so it takes too long to catch someone. Something has to be done when all survivors are paired together to make the objective more difficult so killers don't feel so pressured.

Well i've reached Iridescent 1 playing my main killer, Ghostface, it was hard as balls, i'm pretty sure i got it because after a few Brutal killers my MMR went down enough for me to not face as manny SWF's. so now i'm just playing Trickster cause i really like the visual aspect of him and the charisma and i can't lose my Grade so i can play ######### killers willy nilly and be happy. Obviously i'm still trying to win but i'm enjoying my low MMR on Trickster, i don't have to deal with any BS, i can take time trying my power and if it goes bad then the worst that happens is if i let myself get mad.
I'm not one to camp or slug unless that's the right call, if someone is a few seconds away from dying because nobody is rescuing and if i notice it then yeah i'll go to hook and do what i can to scare any unhookers off and guarantee a kill but i like getting rewarded for hooks so BBQ and Pop are frequent in my builds, i get to see where to go and Pop a gen if needed. Slugging i only do if i'm being harrassed by other survivors while carrying someone but i guarantee you they won't pick you up because i ran off chasing someone else, i'll buy as much bleed meter progress as i can if you're not allowing me to hook.
Tunneling is not something i think it's worth at all, i find unhooked Survivors forcing BT on killers to be cringe af, it's clear i'm not after them so don't be that guy that wants to force a pseudo tunnel.
I havent faced manny camping, slugging killers, just a couple tunnelers trying to get someone out of the game, it wasn't even hard tunneling just they really needed someone out to get some pressure.

you, me, Pulsar and many others yelled day and night into the ether and our cries were unheard :(

holy #########, a Sluzzy post that isn't "killer OP survivor oppressed" with some variation but actually calling out a real issue, now there's something you don't see every day

We tried, my friend. We really tried.

I've been trying to enjoy Pinhead and it has not been a pretty sight.

After 30 games of getting wrecked by survivors I've found the only way to get kills now with the killers I've played a lot of is to camp, tunnel and run NOED.
If it wasn't for that everygame would be a 1 hook, 4 escape mess, but with camping and NOED I can usually get 2 to 3 kills.
Yeah I'm not great but this game went from fun challenge to impossible task for me. Mindgames don't seem to work and every game starts the same way, I find a survivor one gen pops, I chase and hook survivor 2 more gens usually one after the other.
I sometimes have to abandon that first chase as they are uncatchable and I've lost 3 gens for no hooks, at that point its tunnel and facecamp time and wait for NOED to proc. Usually nonone has touched bones so I often get value out of NOED. If they ever nerf it that will be the end of my game.
I'm a casual gamer and the things that used to work well don't work at all anymore, making any kind killer play just impossible for me. Its such a shame this game was so much fun too.
The moment survivors realise you are struggling against them, they really get in your face about it. Games start to drag out at 1 gen because you are having a hard time downing people and they just refuse to ######### leave.
So I thought screw killer I'll play survivor and what do I get, I don't see the killer all game I complete two to three gens and walk out the door.
If this is balance then it misses the mark by a big way.
Yeah under the old system you got those games from time to time but now its every game, ugh.

This was probably me, I'm sorry but its all I have now. Matchmaking seems to think I'm the greatest DBD player in history because I only get matched against hardcore highly skilled players who run loops around me.

Pinhead's surprisingly the one killer i've been able to 4k consistently with, on account of MMR for some reason not working on Pinhead for me and giving me baby survivors
but as soon as i switch to Demo or Nemesis, i deal with sweaty survivors constantly, that #########'s really not pretty :/

I guess we all have to assume it's Leatherface but I hope it was something more stupid like a god nurse!

just play as killer and may be you understand why you should camp or tunnel.

I’m an ex killer main so I already have played that side, never stood still at a hook in a video game for fun.

The first three games I had were against face camping bubba's (in a row)
