It's time! We need Scooby-Doo in the mystery Incorporated in dead by daylight
Now I know that no one wants to see the Scooby-Doo and the mystery Incorporated on hooks but can you imagine how fun it would be. We don't even have to hook their chest. We could put them on a hook on their collars I don't know. But I can think of the perks.
Velma:
Jinkies uses her intelligence to find storage boxes within I don't know 20 ft
when attacked has a random occurrence of her losing her glasses and going blind for 5 seconds
Shaggy:
Zoiks!: When trapped on the hook when removed gets a 5 second speed burst which includes pallets and windows
Home cooking: he can find food in boxes that will heal him immediately. Has a reset time of 90 seconds because you don't want someone to get accustomed to getting free heels
Daphne:
Four leaf clover: when attacked has a chance to jump right back up
Clumsy girl: when being chased she can trip fall down and trip the Killer and run away
Fred:
Let's stick together: when you are with more than two people on a gen Fred gets super easy skill checks for 10 seconds
Let's split up: when alone Fred can see where everyone is and doesn't get hurt when he takes someone off the hook. But in the process slows him down for 5 seconds
I don't think we can put Scooby-Doo in it. But it would be awesome but yeah it's time for Scooby-Doo to appear on dead by daylight and one of criminals in The mask as one of the killers.

I'd say give skins that look like them to other characters, like Dwight in a green shirt and brown pants is Shaggy, Claudette in an orange turtle neck is Velma, Ace is Fred, and Kate for Daphne. It's the only way I see this EVER happening.

I'd much rather get Shaggy Rogers as a survivor. They could try to use Matthew Lillard as a model.

There was a post-apocalyptic Scooby-Doo comic (Scooby Apocalypse) that could lend some pretty fun skins that would be recognizable as the characters to the average player, while also being closer to the horror aesthetic we look for in the game.
I think I would personally lean more toward Feng as Velma, but I gotta say Ace as Fred is...such an out-of-the-blue choice haha - I feel like people usually point to either David or Felix for Fred.

I very much doubt Hanna-Barbera would allow their popular children's cartoon characters to feature in a game which allows players to have them hooked up etc.

That's a fair point, but I still can't see a franchise like Scooby Doo being featured in DBD. It's still relevant with new episodes released on kids channels etc. Never say never, but I feel it's highly unlikely.
Banana Splits had been dormant for decades.

I love Scooby-Doo to death but it's still a kids show and I don't think the license holders would ever approve it for a horror game where they can have their liver ripped out then eaten
