I just don't understand it
Killer mains have speed, powers, perks and add- ons and still camp or have to camp, are they really that weak

Some kind of are but its not about how powerful the killer is most of the time. Camping just has a good skill/effectiveness ratio. Meaning it takes very little skill and is fairly effective. Problem being you don't really learn how to actually play against decent teams or players doing that so when you do run into those teams and players you get rolled and then go to the forums to complain about gen speed or how ds needs to be nerfed again.

Survivors can have a game in the palms of their hands and still have to bully and clicky clicky and use their crutch perks.
Killers have things too. Camping happens to be one of them, only in certain situations I agree with it.
Get over it and move on.

Get over it and move on, says who you, probably an entitled killer main, that admitted camping is ok in certain situations, but didn't express when and I know you're a killer main, from the fact that you expressed being upset about survivors clicking there flashlight, cry me a river, for one I don't run with a flashlight, I'm still fairly new and don't properly know how to use it and two since when did a clicky clicky stop a killers gameplay, but a camping killer stops everyone's gameplay, for one it's boring for two it's taking away any achievement of that survivor at least retrieving bp to level up a character, is at least receiving bp only for killers, nobody wants to wait 2-5 mins for a match to have a killer with speed, power, perks and add-ons to enhance perks, to just camp because a survivor went clicky clicky, you killer mains be the most butt hurt players I've ever played against, so if you don't want to see people complaining, just play the damn game and get over it

Lol, yeah and the devs follow their every move, that's why most of the people I've talk to say they don't even care about the game anymore, it's just the only game out there like it and it's fun to play to a degree

Chasing requires efforts. Camping does not.
It's the easiest way to get kills against survivors that dont know how to handle such a situation.

Don't know how to handle the situation lol, like for instance a camping bubba who can just chainsaw and get another down and just camp that survivor, I don't think when they made this game and gave killers different abilities it was just for the killer to stand there and look dumb, I think that's just killers being lazy and killers being terrible at chases, i think that's the new way you guys came up with to play the game, I just don't understand it, if you don't know how to play a game play something else, to make the game that was meant to be fun boring for everybody else isn't fair and the devs make changes they don't want to to to fit your play style just because they want your dollar and you guys still end up playing the same way, laughable

I think Bubbas and basements have just a bad reputation. For example. 2 days ago had to play bubba for a daily. I hooked a survivor in the basement (because it was the closest hook). Then i found another survivor as i left, so another basement hook. Then i went to the other end of the map to chase a Leon (the obsession) and the fourth survivor didn´t even try to save them. Instead he left toxic basement camper messages on my profile.

That's totally understandable, I'm definitely not talking about that type of game, I hate survivors who are scared to get saves, but complain to the killer like it's their fault, what I'm saying is he's not called a camping bubba for no reason, we know especially bubba mains tend to hook a survivor (they don't even bother waiting until they get a hook in the basement either) they hook a survivor and just stand there

And you are a survivor main that has never played killer or at least not much so how can you know what they are going through ? Ah yes, you don't.
So first thing first : why do you talk about something you don't know ?
Then why do survivors (especially in high mmr) are all bringing OP items with them ("insta" heal, multiple flashlights, purple medkit) ?
You see, i play survivor & killer. I'm a really really good survivor, and a fairly good killer and when i play survivor, i never bring any item with me, i find it so unfair for the killer that will, anyway, have a hard time at my MMR rank.
But no, you still have survivors forcing it, to bring more broken stuffs. All 4 equipped with full meta perks (DH, BT, DS), all being healed really fast if you gave them a hit and went for another target... without mentioning that at this level, we all know totems spawn on every map, destroying ruin in less than a minute...

Are killers weak because they camp - or are they forcing their strategy?
That would be like saying survivors who teabag at dropped pallets are ignorant because they are wasting time they could be using to create distance from the killer. Or is that survivor deliberately trying to get on the nerves of the killer to persuade them to not switch targets and waste their time even more?
When you look at things from a biased and one-sided position - it takes away a plethora of alternatives that are just as valid.

So first things first you've admitted to not being good as killer, so I'm guessing that's why you camp, that's not a good reason to camp, you're probably not good at killer because you camp, instead get good at the game I'm still learning myself and yes I bring a med kit or a toolbox, if it can help me win the game and those items are also a part of the game, camping is not, at least it's not how the devs intended for their game to be played, like I said in my post, killers have speed, powers, perks and add ons, it's true some perks can be disabled, but with speed and powers, that's like a perk in itself, survivors have limited items as well, their flashlight doesn't last the whole game, their med kits don't last the whole game, pallets don't even last the whole game, but a killers speed and abilities does, so who's at a disadvantage, a person that runs out of abilities eventually or a person that doesn't run out of abilities at all, if you lose to survivors it's just because they were good survivors, not because they had items or because the survivors were being toxic and their is toxic survivors, I know trust me, they're toxic to other survivors as well, I can't count how many times survivors get downed, the killer leaves them downed and when the killer can't find the last survivor, ( the last survivor being me in this situation)they'll pick up the downed survivor, that survivor would wiggle free and then both survivor and killer would hunt you down and when the killer finds and downs you, they'll give that survivor hatch and that's even when you've played the game productively, I try to prolong the game as long as possible because I know killers don't like to be gen rushed, so I cleanse totems, I open chest, just to give a killer a better chance, because I've learned that there's a written rule in dbd and that's not to be selfish and that's to other survivors and to killers, so if you have a toxic lobby, then play toxic, but it you have a legit lobby don't be selfish to the players, especially since we know wait time for games are 2-5 mins, just saying

Well survivor have the group advantage, item, also perks and add-ons, can even preselect competent teammates via swf and have the option of optimal coordination via comms.
So I don't see the point of this thread outside another camping/tunneling/slugging/killer x/swf/whatever is boring/unfun/op and needs to be fixed/nerfed thread number 1000001.

Yes, of course. Insidious basement bubba is a meme. Because there are people that simply like to stand around without moving (must be fun).
Honestly i don´t know why people would play like this. I´ve tried equipping Insidious on him once, to understand how the perk/situation works from the killers perspective aaaaand it was the most boring match i´ve ever played. I´d rather watch paint dry.

It is fun in matches where the survivors are overly altruistic . . . but not stupid. seeing them spend 3-5 min peeking around the corner to see if I'm still there is as satisfying as playing lean peek-a-boo as Ghosty.

contradicting yourself here get over it yourself. play killer then you might be understanding its more annoying when survivors ie my team mates are doing nothing crouch walking round the map or literally right next to me doing a gen and not healing me on the ground when im recovering from being slugged. or i come to heal a survivor who is slugged to find them not even recovered. this is a case of learn both sides and get over your ego and anger. good day. your new like you said got a lot to learn then.

Anyway, you don't know what it is to play as a killer.
And obviously you don't know what it is to play in High MMR as a survivor cause you would know killers don't stand a chance at that MMR.
All survivors use meta perks, flashlights saves, bodyblocks. That's so unbalanced it's crazy.

I play usually between 8pm and 2am (eu, PC, X-Play on) if I play at all and kill waiting time in lobby by checking profiles since someone always doesn't ready up.
From my experience four solo or full swf are both exceptions and nearly every lobby has a 2/3 men. So i guess most people have atleast the option for using those advantages.
And I categorically avoid camping and tunneling and only slug people that are on deathhook and only one at a time, i guess I don't fall in any of the typical category and am free to whine about swf or coms.
Not that i would care anymore. Stopped going for kills and switched to 8hooks+0deaths/max BP 3 years ago.
Doesn't stop the opposition from basking in their superiority sometimes even when it is obvious that i led them go or being dismissive when they managed to hard stomp someone playing for "fun" and "fair".

Yup. And with the new SBMM system, that works as intended from what i have seen, in high MMR, even if you have 4 soloQ, they are all high skilled using full meta perks.
It won't be as toxic as SWF but still, it's pretty hard to get a draw.
Now, i dodge SWF in lobbies (3 or more survivors from the same country or with the same outfits or with a resembling nickname). Can't do anything against them.

You mentioned that survivors have meta perks, killers have meta perks, killers also have speed, survivors do not, killers have abilities, survivors do not and killers keep these abilities during the entire game, survivors have resources they can use that don't last the entire game, so when you lose it's not because of meta perks, it's because you just lost and the players were just better then you lol, no offense

Play killer and then you will be able to talk. You don't play killer so you don't know. And you might be a mediocre survivor to think as you do.
High MMR survivor, as i am but as plenty of other players are, you can hold any killers 80 seconds in a single chase. All high MMR survivors do this.
So how do you win a game as a killer when you face 4 survivors able to hold a chase for 80 seconds while a generator need 80 seconds to be done solo ?
