Surge's New Name?
Considering the fact that we're going to be seeing the Stranger Things chapter leave Dead by Daylight, as well as the fact that the perks are more than likely going to be renamed (for some odd reason), this leaves a lot of room to change all of the perks' names, and one such perk is Demogorgon's Surge.
Now, Surge itself is a pretty good name; it's intimidating, it's proper to what it's doing, and it's simple and sweet.
But here on this poll, if Surge is actually going to get a new name for its universal perk variant, which would you prefer? I've got a few options that will surely be very appealing and not jolt you with how bad they are.

Discharge
Surge always sounded underwhelming. Discharge sounds a lot cooler.

With pinhead's voicelines removed, I doubt it.

I don't see a reason why his perks would be renamed though.

Part of the license agreement I guess.

Pulse
Pulse sounds cool.
Discharge sounds wack and there's gonna be a bunch of unfunny people who make memes about its name. Not looking forward to that.
Electrocute and Overflow don't fit Demogorgon's aesthetic in my opinion. They sound like perks you'd find on The Doctor.

Overflow
Overflow sounds dope as hell, I love it. Even though it doesn't really fit Demo, and if the recent leaks are true. Then we'll just get the boring name known as "Jolt"

I still really hate the idea of renaming the stranger things perks to other things- I completely understand the need to rework the perk icons to something else non-stranger things related, but there's no way that Netflix can actually claim some kind of copyright or intellectual property over the NAMES of perks.
Are you really trying to tell me that Stranger Things has some kind of rights over the words / phrase "inner strength"? "camaraderie"? or "cruel limits"?
These things truly have very little to do with the overall show and are just loose connections to the characters but they are entirely generic enough that I don't see Netflix actually being able to hold a case in court. Now if the devs still want to do it just as an act of good faith and to rustle as few feathers as possible as they show they are parting ways amicably with no bad blood between the two companies when the deal is finally dissolved, I guess- fine- that's a decent enough excuse to do it.
But still, this is not nothing. And the sheer bloating DBD is experiencing on account of the number of perks, add-ons, is not fun to deal with and the need to memorize every single one and their effect on a whim is a serious pressure most regular players can probably identify with if they're making a sincere effort to get better. Renaming perks in the midst of this bloating and STILL without an organizational system for our inventories of 7 full pages of perks is just nothing short of an annoyance for players committing this information to memory, it is simply an inconvenience for the playerbase.
It seems to me that it's completely unnecessary to rename the perks.
