For me it made escape rate from 60% to almost 90 as well.
And I was hoping for harder surv matches and easier killer matches for a change but those became very hard even though I am not great killer so my MMR shouldnt be that high.
SBMM made my games exactly how I didnt want them to be, its kinda funny how they nailed it

So you claim to have a 90% escape rate in solo Q (doubt it), so it is very easy for you, so you want to play SWF instead so it gets even easier?

If 90% of the playerbase is composed of potatoes, even at high MMR you will get potatoes.
MMR ranks players depending of their win/loss. A potato winning against another potato will rank up and the mmr will think "oh this potato is stronger than the previous potato", they both still taste like potato.
Fact is the problem is not old or new matchmaking, the problem comes from the community.
How do you escape with potatoes? And how long are the matches?

Did you try joining a swf of high mmr people to see if it helps?
That's interesting because my Solo queue escape rate fell. Nearly every match I've faced camping, tunneling Spirit, Blight, Nurse and Pinheads with all the top add-ons. I was in red ranks before SBMM, but I'm not some God-tier player. Just one of these that are decent/competent but I have weaknesses.
I don't know why I keep getting matched with the sweatiest Killers. The survivors I'm matched with range from competent to borderline potatoes.
Yh its a possibility. It could explain why the mmr stays low. If they escape with the hatch matches could be too quick.
