If a Killer is face camping just do generators.

Nothing is especially more frustrating is when a bad killer gets rewarded and possibly even a 4K for doing this move. Run kindred and just do generators then get out. Don't even bother going for BT plays if it's a killer with a one hit move.

Sucks for the guy on hook but if I was on that position I'll be more frustrated if the killer got even more kills that way.

I thought the purpose was to see if a different player was going for the save so that you don't run across the map for nothing.

I really wonder why he DC. Self sacrifice is better so you don't get a penalty 🙆‍♀️. Some people are a little bit too salty. It's just a game.

Tell the devs to make Kindred basekit. No one wants to waste a whole perk slot for something that doesn't help them personally, and something they should have out of the box (as SWFs do).

Some people are just to greedy. They go in for the save, even when the killer is around, and all while the have no BT.

Perhaps to deny hook points? Some people have a weird mindset of "if i don´t get it, no one will!". I´ve seen something similar with hatches. Where 2 survivors found the hatch and 1 of them tried to lure the teammate away and when that failed, he lured the killer right to the hatch.

Why do you assume that a facecamping killer is bad? If Otzdarva facecamp is he now suddenly a bad killer? It's like saying survivors focusing only on gens is bad. Everyone can do it no matter the skills.

👏👏👏 OP NAILED IT. This should be pinned, tweeted on the official DBD Twitter, and show up in tips during the loading screen lol.

This is what we gotta do people. I hate being the one camped and seeing all 3 of my teammates coming for the save. NO! Do gens and get out!! IDC if you have BT- don’t reward him! I will Martyr for the cause. Good killers don’t need to camp. Barbecue & Make Your Choice have GREAT value and incentives to leave. Use em you scrubs! 😹

Probably because I went against the killer and he's trash? Are you okay?

There nothing more satisfying than gen rushing against a basement bubba whom got his NoEd license revoked. Was he pissed? Yup, xD. KINDRED MAN!!!!

And also do bones/remember totem locations for NOED and pray to the entity that the camped survivor doesn't suicide, because there is no ingame reason to stick around, if you are camped.

The only true counter to camping is that it is boring for the killer as much as it is for survivor.

Problem is face camping forces every player in the game to get screwed because of how the emblem system works. The killer is refusing to interact with anyone other then the hooked survivor so that causes all surviors to get ######### on their evader and benevolent emblems.

If it's just a normal facecamp then I usually go for that but I always sacrifice myself to basement bubbas, they're the only people in this game i like anymore lol

People in here implying survivors are 'greedy' trying to save from a camping killer, I don't give a toss about points, I do however care that you're preventing someone from being able to play, or at least that's you goal, so yes, I'm willing to throw a match to at least try and get a camped survivor some extra play time.

Same. I always run Borrowed Time because the camping is extraordinary and I've got to the point where it just aggravates me. A Killer camping the basement at 5 gens is fully aware he's ruining the game, but has made a conscious decision to do it anyways. I've seen way too many Killers with screen names/profiles bragging about griefing the game (yeah, yeah- not official griefing but pretty darn close).

So I'll try to rescue if a teammate goes with me. Screw the points. I think most experienced Solos are just done with it. If I can't get make the rescue, I just kill myself on the hook. It has nothing to do with greed. I just feel bad for the player being camped.

Yeah I always say this. Even made a similar thread or two about it before.

People really hate "facecamping" from the start but they rarely punish it. Ironic.

I don't know what goes through their heads when they crouch behind that rock or teabag pointing at the killer. I seriously don't. Unless they are very new to the game.

Also doing a gen next to the hooked person is horrible play sometimes too since they can chase you away and go back to the hook.

I think by now most players know that avoiding a camped victim is the preferred strategy, I still think that something just needs to be done to make things less miserable for the person sitting there unable to play their game.

Idk, after some point in my playtime I lost interest in killing/escaping, and I think it's way more fun to try and have a clutch save than staying AFK for 5 mins on M1 simulator. Kind of the devs fault for not doing something to prevent facecamp, not the survivors for not "punishing" it (from my experience camping killer never stop to camp just because survivors rushed gens).

So you ruined everyone's match instead probably pissed off since they just witnessed a killer win by just absolutely doing nothing and be a massive D the entire match?

    Hell yeah.

But in all seriousness I understand that you want to save someone barred from playing but you have to understand you're not saving anyone from a face camping leatherface on a basement. You get what I mean? You made everyone on the entire survivor team eat dirt while the killer is gleeful that his dumb strat got him a 4K probably even a bunch of a salty comments in the post chat too since the killer revels in Survivor misery. He's off to do the same thing in another match again since he gets rewarded for it immensely.

Unless BHVR got something in mind there's just nothing you could do if a One shot killer just stand there in front of the hooked survivor.

The best thing you could do is not hand a 4K on a silver plate to the killer. Don't let him get maximum enjoyment out of playing this way.

Also do totems cause chances are that that killer might be running NOED... plus boldness points

Willing to throw a match does not mean the match will always be thrown, I think you looked into that comment far too deeply.

Can't really do 5 gens and find 5 totems in the time it takes a survivor to die unless you get really lucky with totem placement

I know that but at least it's better then feeding into the camper

Face camping doesn't mean a killer is bad. In high MMR play, the only option a killer has to possibly secure multiple killers vs a strong survivor team is to hook a survivor in the middle of a 3-gen and camp the area. If you can camp the first hook to second stage then tunnel off the hook and eliminate the person from the game, that significantly weakens them and makes the match winnable.

If I'm running my unhook build, I'm still going for the switch.

I hate being the one forced out of the match, so I'm always willing to take the L for someone else. Sticking to gens isn't fun anyway.

The only thing what also boring is, is the save depip.

Maybe reworking the Lightbringer emblem so the hooked survivor also gets points, like he were in a chase for example.

For example 2 Gens and 1 Totem are Silver or maybe Gold and 3 Gens and 1 Totem are Gold or Iri or only the gens.

    Just a idea.

Depends on who is face camping. If it's a Bubba or Billy, basement Trapper especially, on the rare occasion, a Huntress with an iri hatchet at the ready, rescues from a face camped survivor shouldn't be too difficult. If it's one of the latter I listed, then... do gens people, it's not that hard.

Kindred... You would think teammates would see a Bubba or whoever face camping in the basement and just do gens but no. Most of the times, solo queue survivors try to be a hero. Maybe because they don't want to be seen as an awful teammate who just leaves the person on hook but me personally, I get more frustrated seeing the aura of teammates coming in a cluster for rescue. Like... the killer is Bubba.... you see he is face camping me in the basement.. which means he is busy so gens are EZ but then you all come down only get insta downed. When ranks were still a thing and I was in red ranks, I still seen some red ranks go in for save against face camping Bubbas. Wild stuff.

Always disappointing seeing teammates giving face campers a 3-4k, but not surprising.

There's a difference between face camping and patrolling hooks. Face camping literally means you're up in their face ignoring everything else.
