How come its never haunted grounds?
That pops in like the first 30 seconds. I was running it on pig because it was the only totem defense I had on her and I swear it never went early like ruin or undying. Is it just me or do survivors not spawn on HG.

generally i dont see survivors cleanse totems unless they are cursed

Last year survivors would spawn on HG a lot. Now it feels like the opposite. This year Ruin or Undying go pretty quickly. Also feels like less killers are using less HG. Maybe cause less Spirits?

I'll do bones as I see them but unless I know a hex is in play, I won't actively seek them out.
The first thing I do when I spawn in is tap a gen to see if Ruin is in play and if it is, I won't touch a gen until I find it. Haunted Ground I'd basically have to stumble upon by accident for me to break it.

As a survivor, I definitely spawn on Haunted. But yeah, as killer, I rarely see it go early. Maybe their spidey senses were tingling.

Survivors check to see if Ruin is being used then cleanse it...
If no Ruin then no reason to cleanse totems... which is why NOED is being used by some killers

When boon totems comes out I'll be running DH, Ruin, Undying, and Haunted every game, so be ready

Need to run ruin or lullaby or something to encourage a cleanse then you need to get lucky.
Don't get my wrong I see bones and I'm not in a chase I do em but many try to rush. I do try to time it if I can so if it's HG I don't give them anything easy. Make them waste that first, maybe only, hit on an already injured survivor.

I've had this happen alot it getting broken in chase with an injured survivor. That's a smart play.

Try to make it obvious it's an important totem like devour hope. Make them want to cleanse it. I don't use hex perks too often but when I do, I try to make my haunted ground like devour hope.

I really don't run any hexes outside of ruin/undying I don't have devour hope yet but the rest are lackluster at best.
