Adept Achievement

I was playing DbD yesterday and tried to get some Adept achievements, but when I used all Jake's perks and escaped it didnt give me the adept achievement.
Is this something that the teachable perks need to be tier 3 perks, before even being able to get the adept achievement ?

    When I tried Kate's achievement the other day, it didn't give it to me, but maybe it's because I used an item and offering. The second time I tried without anything but tier 1-2 perks, I got it fine.

    Anyone escaped through the hatch? Then it doesn't count. You have to escape through the gates. Offerings/items don't matter.

    I escaped through the exit gates and had no offerings/items, and only the teachables :l

    Yeah, I got Kate's and The Clowns. I think it might be some weird glitch. Keep trying.

    Tiers, items and offerings shouldnt matter. And you have to escape trough the exit gates im pretty sure
