Teasers on Instagram
havent seen this mentioned on the forums..
So the DbD Instagram account has posted some images, teasing something coming in October
Could be related to the new survivor/midchapter update or the Halloween event.
best guesses right now is the survivor being a witchy character, since they probably will also introduce the Boon totems. Haddie Kaur from the tome storys is a possible candidate.

Desperate, Lucian did the unthinkable. With a miserable sigh, he plunged his hand into the rotting belly, felt around the stinking, oozing innards and ??? pulled out a dangling ???

it’s not a new chapter, just the midchapter update. Which has a survivor as the current chapter doesn’t have one.
also.. no we don’t need one. But we are getting the update and the next chapter either way as they have been planned and scheduled for quite some time already.

Oh a vegetarian survivor, and there's going to be a vegetarian charm - a turnip perhaps. Three meat-free perks and I'll get reported for tunnelling someone "just because of their lifestyle choices".

I don’t really see anything in these teasers that indicate anything Halloween license related though it would be cool to get something for that license (maybe a rework/refresh for Myers as he is pretty outdated…)

The theme of these teaser goes into witchcraft/wicca. Well we will see where this goes. PTB for midchapter shouldn't be too far away.

White theme, witch theme and skulls are blurry.
Its probably confirming boon totems (white witchcraft and skulls). We are probably getting a witch-themed survivor.
Im excited for boon totems from a survivor aspect (I like breaking bones), but as a killer im concerned because game is hard enough without having to go break bones

New teaser, still that witchy theme and scribblings but there is Part of a story written (added text to the OP).
Dont know what to think about the writing though, seems like it’s written as fiction and not a diary or something about witchy potions or boons…
edit: this could actually be another hint to Haddie Kaur. I think in the tomes she is said to be a psychic that can see what others can’t see, across different realities etc. She is probably writing down what she is seeing.
