Welcome to another survivor main!
So, killer became absolutely agonizing and frustrating to play where you can only bring few meta perks to have a slight chance to win and with usual killer nerfs also I decided instead of paying for killers and their cosmetics which BHVR does not care about clearly, I will just pay for cute skins for survivors (Kate and Feng <3) and play only survivor. Why not?
P.S. Sorry for making those survivor queues a tiny bit longer.

Survivor queues are almost instant so don’t worry about it. Thanks for lessening my long killer queue times tho

If they slapped my main I would probably react the same (mostly because she shouldn't be) but the changes aren't live yet. She was clearly OP so needed a change and a Spirit Main should know this. I will add I do have some sympathy because I feel they went a tad overboard. 24 meter phase notice was all that was needed.

It's not even live, no one knows how it will go and how it will affect good spirit killers. We can assume it's bad, but let's see how it goes first.

Okay, I never mentioned "spirit nerf". I do not play spirit since I do not like how she feels and that she is a supernatural killer, why are people assuming I am talking about spirit nerf?
I am talking about general killer feeling and gameplay (I main clown and Ghost face for the reference) where I need Corrupt, BBQ, pop and ruin to have a chance competing, slap higher MMR at that and bam, 3-4 escapes. Stop refering to spirit nerf and putting words in my mouth, please.

We´ll see. I guess you meant Spirit, but i don´t see her as problem. But that might be subjective. One less killer to care about in high skill ratings, right?

Imagine complaining that killer is going to be unplayable when an OP killer getting an overall minor nerf and a refresh to their add-ons to be more fun rather than just breaking their power while one of the worst killers in the game is getting huge buffs and add-on reworks at the same time, as well as a bunch of other killers getting improvements to their useless add-ons and a bunch of rarely used perks for both sides getting buffs too.

You're right, these forums will never change. Some killer mains come here crying everyday instead of using that time to just get better at the game.

Honestly the bracket is so low that I think killer variety will remain fairly similar

Yes,I have 5000 hours killer mains,and i use vpn play other server.
Korean server player was best, secondly was Japan and EU.
The most UA survivors like potato,but high MMR SWF team technology same to other server.

Yeah it is. Problem is they either have to nerf the S tier killers and balance around A-B tier killers or make every killer nurse strength which is essentially impossible

That’s why we then balance survivors so that A tier killer can beat them. Nurse and spirit were a problem because any general killer buff/good perk became insane on them

Keys are getting reworked by the end of the year, Styptics can be avoided since you can actively see the medkit go away and maps are just unbalanced in general

Timing.
You posted this complaint literally a day after the Devs posted something with a Spirit nerf but a whole lot of Killer buffs and (hopefully) more we don't know the specifics of yet. So... they made the small logical leap that Spirit getting nerfed triggered this post.
Heck... your main Ghostface is getting some add on changes that we don't know the specifics of... but tbh all of Ghostface's add ons beside the cool down ones are bad. So he's probably gonna end up getting buffed.

Survivors queues are instant now, friend, hope you enjoy them. At the same time, thanks for making my killer queues also shorter! Thank God I play both sides so I don't need to make stupid posts like this.

Only Trapper is getting a QoL buff to his power, from what has been confirmed.
Meanwhile Spirit got tons of negatives added to her power.
Perks don’t count as killer buffs, by the way. And of the perks getting buffed, they won’t make any killer much better. They’re all niche. I would say only Retribution has the best, more effective buff coming.

I don´t see any survivor nerfs coming. At least no significant ones and especially none to the survivor meta. Which hasn´t changed in 4 years.
Right now, the biggest threat for survivors are other survivors. When it should be killers.

You'll be fine, Spirits will be fine. They take a bit more to properly master now without it being a middle finger to the opposing team. She hasn't received the Hillbilly treatment which overall is the worst thing to been changed to a killer, you just have visual effects while other killers are more QOL.
Also Trapper's isn't too much of QOL, his QOL was him being able to reset a bear trap without picking it up or them being sabotaged. (Remember that?)

Like I’ve said before, I just hope her add-ons aren’t gutted. I’m praying speed/duration add-ons will still exist, if that’s the case then I’ll be content.

That I will agree with you on, they shouldn't change those two, I would love for a more transformative killer, but they shouldn't remove speed and duration.

As a killer Main, I’m okay with nerfing spirit. I’ve felt spirit was indeed strong. But problem is, why are so many killers left to be so piss poor? Why has legion, pig, etc. just been left to rot and be garbage. Why is less than 15%. of the killer roster viable at the highest MMR. Why are gen speeds still so fast? My issue with nerfing spirit is the fact is that now they’re are now only 2 viable killers while gen speeds are still ridiculous and survivors are still in the hot seat.

The spirit nerf are huge not only does survivor know when you use you power they will know the direction you are going and where you walk at all time in a chase.
Dont forget they are changing a lot of addon on the killer too its not just the spirit nerf. The only good thing is they finally put some effort on trapper.

Yeah man, with the tracking tools survivors will have to counter her she will definitely need those two to remain untouched in order to play around dropped pallets and windows.
The husk exploding add-on seems fun, but 5 seconds is nothing… and the meter distance is laughable. The devs are always super cautious when giving killers something potentially “broken”, but always go to the other extreme and make it hilariously weak.
