General Tip for All Survivors Going Forward: Run Away After Unhooks to Avoid Proxy Camping
Survivor Players,
For some of you this may be common knowledge, for others this is a necessary message:
Do not heal near hooks anymore. Desperate for MMR, Killers at lower ranks are proxy camping hooks more than ever to secure kills. This includes walking away from a hook to act like they are patrolling gens and immediately walking back with the assumption you are healing there. Two kills is an MMR Win for Killers right now and 60% Hook Progress (8 Hooks Total) is a complete win statistically. Some Killers actively hunt the altruistic players with this in mind.
My suggestion to you:
Waste the camper's time: find a safe spot or embrace the W meta, especially when dealing with a proxy camping Killer, please.
Prior to MMR Changes, in my experience, a lot of Killers refrained from finding the recently unhooked person, sometimes ignoring them entirely to find the person that unhooked the survivor, barring any antics (using BT to block insta downs or bodyblocking with BT, for example). Currently, a somewhat unwritten rule: go for the unhooking Survivor, is being broken; in a connected manner, some Killers are waiting for the Unhook to Occur to capitalize on the expected outcome: Immediate healing.
So please, run away after unhooks, heal when its safe, punish Killers for exploiting altruistic players.
Many of you will attribute this to my own MMR and my own rank, but again, in general, better to be safe than sorry.
Sincerely,
A Killer Main Disgusted By What He's Seeing Playing Survivor Games

Or run We'll Make It so you can heal in their face

Add Spine Chill to that for a lil boost plus warning.
But no, people really ought to wait for the killer to be on someone before unhooking. If you follow that simple rule, you'll be a more efficient survivor in general.

I am not desperate for mmr so much as I do not know where the other 2 are. Like, I am going where I know the people are, bruh. If my BBQ doesn't find anyone, you really think I am about to leave? That's cute. I need to counter their camping. Word up, I despise campers and must enact my revenge on that Blendette waiting for the unhook.

Sorry but if i know there are 2-3 survivors nearby, i won't leave. It doesn't matter do u heal or not. It's all about survivors teamwork.

My fellow Killer mains outing themselves in a post meant for Survivors :x

It might explain them what are they doing wrong instead of all 4 dying on 1 hook and then blaming killer.

People need to bring DS. If i get tunneled, i can buy enough time for gens. If a survivor without DS gets tunneled, we are sometimes survivor at 3 gens or even worse.

I don't know why people keep healing under hooks. Doesn't DS disable if you made any interactions? It's giving the killer free estate to tunnel; you if he ever decide to come back and saw you got touched for a second lol

Well I wouldn't know because I've only been seeing blight, nurse and spirit for the last few days and they're more worried about applying pressure on the other survivors not on the hook, so I guess if you know it's a bad killer that has to resort to those tactics to get even a kill then what you're saying is correct

Being healed does not disable DS unless you are self healing

Even if Killer doesnt camp or tunnel, if they're not chasing anyone else, they will go back to the hook and search for the unhooker. Because the hook is the easiest way to find 2 survivors.
