It's time to become a survivor main :)
It's time to drop this miserable role and become a survivor main.
But why, you ask? Well:
-SBMM has made every killer match last 5 minutes at most. You're lucky if you get 4 hooks unless you tunnel, camp, or play a good Nurse.
-Spirit is getting nerfed out of S tier, so only a good Nurse can compete against good survivors now.
-Boon totems being something that directly buffs survivors.
-SBMM makes it so potato teammates are a thing of the past.
-Each and every game is a breeze. Holding W & abusing exhaustion perks makes looping braindead.
-Holding M1 on a generator is therapeutic compared to what killers deal with.
-More cosmetics to love and appreciate as a survivor.
-Being able to play with friends and make the game even easier.
As someone who dedicated 2000+ hours into killer, I'm finally transitioning into the survivor role. I'll probably touch killer every full moon just to remind how favourable this game is towards survivors with half a brain.
Join me, comrades.

If you think nurse is the only killer that can compete against good survivors, then you probably need to actually get better with your killers. And I'm not buying your statement of 2000+ hours.

You're kidding right?
It takes literal minutes to down good survivors with any killer that isn't Nurse, current Spirit, and Blight (map dependent). The only way you can even compete is if you tunnel or camp right off the bat, and even then, the win isn't guaranteed.

I feel you <3.
I have to agree that killer is not as fun anymore.
14 -
i can understand some of ur points but the spirit nerf and boon totems are not even out yet. hold ur damm horses

Spirit, fine.
But boon totems? Even the PREMISE of these perks is enough to make me never touch killer again. In-between juggling four survivors, protecting all the generators, tracking their perks/usages of them, creating dead zones in the map while remembering where they are along with managing my own killer power.. I now need to add finding a survivors boon totem to the list, and up to four of them?
Nah fam, I'm done with that crap.

And just how often do you find yourself running up against really good survivors? The kind of survivors that can do well against any killer; the kind that you would find in comp? I doubt that the SBMM is bad as you say because so far it seems like it is still pretty inconsistent. For example, I was put against 2 survivors with 400 hours on the last match I played.
Huntress is strong, Deathslinger is strong, Pyramid head is strong, plague is strong, Oni is strong, Hag is strong, and Demogorgon is strong. They are all strong, maybe not nurse level but definitely not weak in the slightest. It just takes skill. I know there are times where you go up against a 4-man swf who have over 2000+ hours, but those times that it actually happens is rare. Even when against survivors in solo queue that are pretty good, you aren't hopeless all the time.

If you take minutes to down Survivors, yes, you should get better with your Killers.

Almost every single game. It's the same experience every game with generators being down in five minutes, every survivor running some form of exhaustion perk while holding W extra early to make it take minutes to down them. Just look at the killer streamers, like TrueTalent for example, every game he has is a 2-4 hook game and its miserable
Thanks for telling me you don't play killer at all.
But I don't blame you, survivor is relaxing and therapeutic.

I play Killer. In fact, my Killer-Grade is higher than my Survivor-Grade, which means that I played more Killer so far.

amazing. every word of what you just said is wrong. i recommend you to get better and maybe try to watch killer streamers like otzdarva to learn how to get 4ks for pretty much every killer.

Sweaty killers complaining about sweaty survivors. What else is new?
0 -
Ah yes let me dedicate a career to DBD so I can win a single game.
Such a smart solution!
7 -
That's his experience, you can't say that every word he said is wrong.
No hate btw, but it's just his opinion...

No, I am a straight g Killah for the rest of my days, homie. Ya dig?
0 -
Do you see any other killers than Nurse and (pre-nerf) Spirit?
1 -
Funny how I main Mikey, play Twins, Trapper and dabble with Freddy. None of which are anything like Nurse, and yet I have no issues.
Take the one I am frequently right now (Freddy) my build consists of Corrupt/Play Things/Lullaby/BBQ. Not really focused on gen slow down build but providing my totem doesn’t get found at the beginning of the match I end up getting all my hooks at 3 gens left. That’s not accounting for when I bring add ons that work with the build.
So when people tell you that maybe you are taking too long downing someone, they are probably correct.
1 -
"Literal minutes to down good survivors" my man is getting ran for 5 gens and complains about balance.
3 -
You realize none of these teams play on public lobbies, right? Competitive DBD is another world, posting this video is meaningless. You will never meet a team like this casually.
7 -
I said good survivors, not survivors playing in comp.
1 -
well, considering that survs have only 4 perk slots, somethings gotta give, right? a boon totem means giving up iron will or something.
i'll see how it plays out first.

There is no point in arguing with people that refuse to see the game for how it truly is. A large portion of people play against weak survivor players and base their opinion on how hard killer is off of that. 3 gens pop first hook? They say, "just get better at chase". When the reality is you have to rely on the survivor to make a mistake to get a quick down. That is what killer really is all about on almost every killer. You wait for the survivor to make a mistake, then you capitalize on it. If they don't make any, or not enough of them, you lose.
A lot of people really don't realize that every trial is a trial for the survivors to throw. That is how strong the survivor role is when played well. The only reason any player has a high win rate on anyone besides Nurse, Blight and Spirit is because the survivors made mistakes. Like killer streamers going on 50+ 4k streaks on lower tier killers is 90% due to the survivors playing poorly and making mistakes.

Time will proved you are right.
UA was most casual server,so casual survivor always feel killer powerful.

Cool, have fun.

Now that the SBMM has started, your criticism is misplaced.

No....I'd rather quit my pig than lower my standards to play the cheap and overpowered thing in a game....
Thats like when Xin Xao was overpowered in league of legends to the point where he could 1v5 in a 5v5 moba....Or like the 1 taps you could get from uber range and a body shot with auto shotties in modern warfare. Or back when veigar could stack 6 rabadons death caps and 1 shot everything on the map including baron. Or the release version of Dark Knight in DFO who could 1 roll bosses with minimal gear. Or full reflect templars in Rohan Online that could reflect every status effect in pvp, debuff all skills, silence, stun you, and stack every buff in the game without also being able to be debuffed, and hit you for the highest single and multi target dps in the game, and not die to assassin classes due to refreshing invincibility buffs. Or DarkRunners in Archeage with the highest mobility, CC immunity, and downright highest DPS that was so high it broke the games parsing system so it would show their damage capped at 150,000 in a single hit when players only had 20,000 health.
Its cheap, its broken, its overpowered, and you should feel bad for playing it.
Oh...and all of those OP things I listed either took years to fix, (because it allowed devs time to milk the market that was playing it) or in some cases didn't get fixed at all. The only ones that did get fixed come from professional e-sports studios. So I don't expect anything different to come from BHVR.

ROFL people using comp matches as their basis for public match experience. ROFLMAO!
1 -
All I hear is survivor are babies and we should nerf killer because my pet monkey was able to 4K as perkless clown with no addons. People really bragging about stomping potato to prove that killer is op. If anyone really want to prove something play me in a custom, I prove to you that survivor is easier than killer. You can even bring your most crutch build and I still win lol that’s how confident I am that survivor is op. Im always down for a custom match just let me know
3 -
I'm jealous that you don't know the pain of being matched up with an army of athlete-survivors (that's sometimes a team of four solos) in a public match with no intention of doing eSports.

I mean, 3 gens can still pop on your first chase regardless of what level you play. Doing gens is not exactly a high skill cap feat that only the best of the best can manage. I just had it happen to me on Pig and my mmr should be near the bottom with her as I play the "get BBQ stacks and follow the last trapped user while crouching to get a head pop playstyle."
3 gens flew because I had to break every pallet (which I disrespected every single one to get early drops with brutal/enduring/fire up). Without slugging, I didn't have enough pressure to keep them off gens even though the last 3 chases were sub 30 seconds and I was chasing one almost immediately after hooking except for at the end where I was just chilling in Shack waiting for them to come unhook my trapped final girl. So I gave that one up for free because I actually had to struggle just to get 4 stacks of BBQ before the game was over.
This is rare. By the way, usually games go well over 10 minutes because low mmr survivors refuse to touch gens. But that is the thing. If they just decide, "hey, that one thing from the tutorial? Let's do them" it is difficult to keep up with the tempo. At least as m1 killers without gen regression. Pig has slowdown too. I have no idea how they were managing to juggle getting traps off, getting someone off hook/healing while maintaining a gen as one was being chased. For beginners, I mean.

Why haven't you become survivor main earlier? Oh, because Survivor role (solo Q) miserable aswell.
0 -
Me neither, he's caping
0 -
That's such a non argument. Even if that were true, obviously there are survivor teams out there that are going to be on the same level considering competitive DBD can't draft all skilled players in the game, and they have none of the restrictions that apply in a tournament setting. So even less skilled teams can theoretically be as or more powerful than comp teams.
1 -
Minutes?? Damn no wonder people like you cry about gen speed. If you need more than 60 seconds you bad imo. Unless you play gen pressure with ruin and slowly cut down survivor resources
0 -
So you want free wins now?
0 -
Deal, I accept that challenge. Send me your steam name and we make it happen. I will record and upload
0 -
They are not on the same level because it's borderline impossible to have teams where all 4 survivors are extremely good, like comp level. That requires training which the casual DBD player doesn't do.
0 -
Are you sure about that?
Korean severs have many powerful SWF team or Soloq players.
0 -
You'll switch back.

Alright, welcome

I don’t play on pc, I play on console my gamertag is Das Wilde

Trust me, as someone who has been playing significantly more survivor since sbmm, survivor hasn't been very fun either.

Yeah he is kidding if u wish to compete nurse and blight.
