One thing I think almost every killer and survivor can agree on.
If you are the guy that opens the hatch at 1 gen 3 survivors left mid chase right in front of the killer and screw both of you teammates. Politely ######### off.

I agree. I main survivor and I lobby dodge key users. Either the killer will be toxic because of the key (understanding, but still makes the game difficult to win if someone is tunnelled out) or they just ditch the whole team and leave you to die.
Key users suck and it's 100% the most skill-less thing in this game.

They just need to remove keys and let the hatch stay how it is now where the killer can close it and it only opens if you're the last one alive

This happened to me last night, I was playing trapper on badham, a meg who didn't do anything rescued the survivor in front of the hatch, she left as I was walking to close the hatch, the survivor was quentin, we both stared at each other, I felt horrible because that has happened to me and let him go.

I don't run keys at all and only if i find them but:
You know, honestly if im on dead hook and killer is going after me and i have a key, my teammates would be somewhere on the bottom list of my priorities. Also i don't get it how it screw others? When killer closes hatch, game collapse starts so u can open gate and run away.

It's lame, but I equate it to suiciding on hook or DCing early. Just something you have to put up with sometimes.

yep I wrote this post immediatly after a game where a Nea did nothing but sandbagged her team killed Claud and the David that HARD carried the team was not hooked once even though I chased him like 3 times. I was gonna let the David go, then I thought about the 4th BBQ stack then I realised too late... I dont have BBQ unlocked on Billy yet.

I really think that pink keys and purple keys need removing, and then green keys should exist but only for the aura use (but get rid of the addon where you can see the killer), since I like the idea of an item letting you see auras of survivors and then maps for the auras of generators/totems, but I would never use a key, even if it was for aura purposes, just so I don't get tunnelled out, unless it was changed.

It's no different than running any of the meta survivor perks, or even all of them. Anything you can do to live or get more points without dying

Welp I see why you would want a throwaway saying things like that. It is much much different. You dont hurt your team by running meta perks and even full meta build is more fun and fair than a key.

This is the harsh truth with this game, it turns into a situation where you're only as good as your randoms/teammates , you could run the killer for five minutes straight and if no one does the gens how much did it really matter ?

I made a throwaway because I was voicing my opinions about killers and how strong they are. If meta perks are fun and fair then keys are fun and fair because they are one and the same

I'd say that is real issue. I don't see keys that often. I like to bring green keys with the add on to see the obsession. I rarely bring a key that can open the hatch and only if it's needed for a challenge. I don't care for the keys and I wouldn't mind if there weren't any purple or above keys in the blood webs. But sometimes it's nice to find a key in game.

There's survivors who go out of their way to get downed on top of hatch to grief a teammate. Doing things your way leads to more toxicity, not less - it becomes a 1v1v3 at best.

I think a good fix would be no keys in bloodweb 100% RNG out of chests. Only works with 1 survivor left
