Who is Hype for the Perk and Addon Passes?
I'm very excited to see their changes. This update seems to have the most changed of any midchapter yet.

Excited, but worried.
The last add-on changes they've done didn't go too well. (Freddy rope/chains, Hillbilly)

I am very interested in what they're doing with Mikey's add ons.

Except Huntress and Demogorgons passes were excellent.

Hopefully he'll have the same amount of add-ons as the rest of the cast. He's got one too many if I remember.

he has 1 less common but 1 more uncommon than usual i think

Excellent?
Half of Demo's addons are still borderline useless outside of niche use cases, a brown is still one of his best addons, and Huntress still has crappy hatchet addons.
I'm expressing a cautious optimism, but I don't think BHVR will do more good than harm.

I personally think demogorgon has the best set of add-ons in the game though.

So don't get me wrong, Demo has great addons.
The problem is that a lot of those addons are either inferior to the effects of other addons that are MORE COMMON, or have niche uses.
Demo has some FANTASTIC addons, but largely, he still has quite a few mostly-pointless ones.

True, i think the rarity is a little strange but it's the closest add on set they've gotten to perfect imo

Perks? Yes.
Add ons? Only if they add fun ones for streamers to mess around with. Otherwise, nah. Not looking forward to even more nerfs.

just for streamers?

Need to see the actual changes before i can start any excitement.
Or disappointment.

what perk and add-on passes? I don't see anything in the news here on the forum or on Twitter. Link please?

oh! derp, I did already read that, but for some reason my tiny brain was reading "perk and add-on passes" as like a "season pass" that would give you access to exclusive perks and add-ons.
Carry on! 😀

Its already Monday morning inmy place, where is theupdate ?1 -
Devs have confirmed it won't be here until C3Tooth makes a Wraith animation! 👿

Babysitter gives an 8 second speed boost to any survivor you unhook. Thats INSANE for countering hard tunnelers. So excited.
Slotting that into my anti tunnel build ASAP.

Not even a little bit

Eh I'd say Demo's was mixed due to having multiple unneeded nerfs to things like rat's tail's effect being halfed(Btw even with its buffIts still now back to prenerf).
Along with deer lung losing 25% of its effectiveness(from 40% bonus portal travel movement speed to 30%) while also being given its 2 less portal downside.
However for me I am concerned for the add-on pass.
The main thing that makes me this way is the preview which had a total of 0 good add-ons in it including 2 detrimental purples to trapper with one being a massive nerf to a good add-on(Trapper sack aka stitched bag).

Trapper Spring is a marked improvement above any of the spring family's current itetration.

If they actually start fixing a bunch of bad/unused perks I'm gonna ######### my pants

Most of Demogorgon's addons aren't ever used and while I do agree huntress's was good most of them are the same. Btw wooden fox.

Excited but worried. It seems too good. Which is a bad sign.

Its actually detrimental as it punishes you for using your trap for blocking off paths.
As it will reset if you go for them and they escape the trap will reset forcing you to either waste time picking it back up or have it stun you.
Its a good in theory but the moment you put it into practice it will actively hurt you.
Also would you need a trap to reset within 2 seconds of a survivor escaping it?

Not that i disagree with you.
But i find the claim "good in theory but in practise it will hurt you" pretty funny seeing how nobody played with it in practise yet

I saw that they were changing one of Blight's Add-Ons, and I really hope that it's Alchemist Ring xd
And the perk buffs... 👌

I disagree.
As a Trapper you want to avoid trapping narrow paths. Its much less predictable to do it in the paths of loops.
And even if you do, it only works if a survivor escapes. By then your usually too far to exploit or too close for it to affect you. The scenario you describe will happen seldom.
