You guys do realize that getting upset at a cheater will only encourage them right?
It sucks, but the best thing to do is just leave and ignore them. Better yet... waste their time. It is both the morally superior option, and not bannable.
It is very simple, but if you want to get back at the cheaters, you gotta take every chance you can. All you have to do is either nothing, or just meme around (in the endgame chat I mean).
What they all do is trash talk everyone at the end, always. This means that you are guaranteed to have their attention. If you want to waste their time, then you have to just be silly and meme around. Here are a few example of what I mean.
Comment: "commit suicide n-word"
Reply: "But I love you ;("
Comment: "you guys are so bad at this game"
Reply: "teach me oh wise one uwu"
Comment: "ez"
Reply: "gg" (or just leave and say nothing)"
Anyway, you get what I mean. Just be silly and meme around a little, your comments don't even have to make sense. Just keep them there. So while the cheater is talking to you guys trying to upset you, you end up keeping them there for a few extra minutes as well. This means that you can prevent them from ruining other people's fun as well, for a few extra minutes at least.
If you let them know that they upset you, they win. Don't give cheaters that satisfaction. Upset them by not getting upset, very simple and easy.

Step one : Record a clip of them cheating
Step two : Go to a corner and face the wall
Step three : Tab out and watch a YT video or something till the game is over
Step four : get their steamID and report them
Step five : move on to the next game.
Interacting with them in the trial is what they thrive for, so don't.

Except reporting does absolutely nothing. The ever growing collection of hacker vids being posted almost daily is proof of that.

Do understand that family sharing and IP/HWID spoofers exist. This is why hackers are unstoppable on PC.

When I encounter a cheater in a match:
- I disconnect from the match (because why would I willingly play with/against cheaters).
- I report them in-game (I used to report directly to support but it just takes too long and seemingly doesn't do anything).
- I return to the lobby.
I'm very much excited for the upcoming update to bans and such, especially because much like PUBG, if a player is actually breaking game-rules you will know because the game will tell you that a player you reported was banned.

People who blateny and obviously cheat are unsung heroes.
They are showing what all can be done and how broken the anti cheat is.
People could have subtly hack and cheat the game forever without anybody knowing if it wasen't for these people showing it off.
(Still report them ofcource)

I wish they'd do something cool with their hacking ability like give everyone lots of BP but instead they have to be lame and try to ruin the matches. It's a shame really.

They'll stay if they want to talk more, they'll leave if they're done.
You can view the trash talk as a waste of time by itself, but that's subjective.
Best it can do is give you some giggles.

I actually track the profiles that i report and they do get banned after i report them.

None of this would even matter if DBD's anti cheat was better.

Do understand that Cheaters will always exist in every online game, what we can do is report them and hope they don't cheat again even though that sounds silly. There is no magical anti-cheat that instant ban them.

Now you're going to be reported for AFKing and the people contributing are going to be more royally pissed off that you're afk tabbing than the person cheating/helping with gen speeds

You realize that a script kiddy like these current cheaters can take the game hostage for 2 hours? And the dc penalty will increase if you just dc.
I ran into 3 cheaters back to back so I did get the dc penalty 3 times in a row.
So it is either get penalized because someone is cheating or be punished for staying in that match for 2 hours.

I already clarify that in report that i go afk since i don't want to deal with it. been doing it since 2018, i got some cheaters banned while my account is perfectly fine. And why would i contribute to a waste of time anyway ?!! i have better things to do then sit there entertaining a cheater.
