New Add-on Changes sneak peek for The Shape, The Pig and The Nurse

The Pig :
Video tape currently reduces charge time and miss of ambush attacks but it has been changed from an uncommon to an ultra rare and has this new effect.
Interlocking razor currently tremendously increases the penalty for failing a jigsaw box skill check and was an rare and is now a common.
Jigsaw's Sketch has been updated with an additional effect. This add on has been reworked. Thanks to @Komrad_Karnage for pointing that out.
Workshop grease has been reworked and changed from a common to a uncommon. Previously this add on would slightly increase jigsaw box skill check odds. I just realised, the new workshop grease is actually the old video tape.
The Shape:
Vanity mirror used to reduce The Shape's Movement speed by 7% (making him 108%) and it no longer does that now.
The Nurse :
Torn Bookmark has had it's line of sight restriction removed and now has a new effect.
That's all for now! I am really excited for these, especially the new video tape because i think that is an extremely cool Saw reference.

Got to admit, I didn't think they would remove her ambush charge addons. I hope Combat Straps and Shattered Syringe are still things.

Well, video tape right now is actually a combination of John's Medical File and Shattered Syringe, so maybe they thought it was unnecessary.

I have to admit I had my fears that they were going to destroy Myers add-ons completely and I know they are showing the best one but I'll take any glimmer of hope.

New Pig UR is legit as hell. New Pig common is cute but probably still just as crappy as all the other Jigsaw Box skill check add-ons. At least it isn't a freakin' rare.

I am expecting a nerf to tombstones at least but i am very glad they buffed vanity mirror, it was seriously so bad making the killer move at 108%

I don't know. The fact they're reworking one of her best add-ons that ISN'T unfair like Tampered Timer makes me worried.
I hope BHVR haven't snorted too much statistics and gone all in on the Pig Nerf to End All Nerfs.

I personally think it's kinda huge, for a common. Deep wound cannot pause if you are solving a box, so the survivor would be forced to mend for 12 seconds.

You are absolutely correct about Deep Wounds, but from my POV, you really don't fail Box search skill checks.

######### Video Tape addon will not see light in live. This is an incredible slowdown and a lot of people will cry a lot that they can't go rush into m1 gens. And from the description it doesn't seem that it uses your inventory traps.
On another note it seems like they replaced an ambush addon wich makes me think that they will buff her base kit.

It’s a common addon it’s not supposed to be good plus it’s for beginners that can’t hit skill checks

I'd still argue many/most killer commons are better than this. It's sub par even for a common.

To be fair, one of Pig's best add-ons currently is Combat Straps, which is a common. :P

It does probably need some sort of downside, but i really love the idea of survivors starting with an RBT, because it's just like Saw 1

I mean, the old old old "All Seeing": Blood had a 10 metre range, the pink one had a 12 metre range, maybe they'll just nerf the range.. which would be boring. I'd rather give a drawback or requirement or rework the Add-on alltogether.

Not a big fan of the Pig Add-Ons.
Video Tape-->Mainly because it was an Add-On which focusses on her Ambush before. I think she needs more love for her Stealth and Dash and not so much for her Traps. I hope there are other Add-Ons for the rest of her kit.
Interlocking Razor-->I dislike Add-Ons which mess with Skill Checks. They only really affect inexperienced players and dont do anything against players who are able to hit Skill Checks basically all the time.

Ik people are gonna ######### on nurse getting good addons. Just because a killer base is good doesnt mean their addons should be garbage. Blight has both awesome power and addons for instance.

I would hope they wouldn't remove their functionality and instead move their function to either basekit for ruleset no2 or put them in less rare add ons.... Pig players don't need less options. Versatility is her strong point....removing that just makes her gameplay loop boring.

I only used Amanda's letter when I want to run a stealthy gen grabby all seeing eye type of build. Which I'm gonna be honest I don't run it a whole lot because of the sheer rarity of those add ons. And the fact that you can't just throw it on willy nilly without the proper map. Its basically just an aura read for indoor maps. If they ditched Amanda's letter I don't think I'd cry over it. But at the same time, having that option again is what makes Pig a cut above most other killers. As a killer who's primary niche is setting up deadly games for people to overcome or die from, Quantity reigns supreme for options so she's never boring to play. You can exhaust peoples helmets, blind them, (hopefully one day they bring a helmet in that ######### with peoples screens making them dizzy or something). You can tamper with peoples helmets to reduce the timers, add more jigsaw boxes, throw all the boxes out the window and have a strong aura read, (you used to be able to ######### with peoples jigsaw box skill checks but thats no longer the case.....no thanks to BHVR for that one...fuggin lame...) you can run a speedy crouch build, etc etc.
Her versatility is god tier. I just think her add ons previously were too focused on 1 singular gimmick and not multiple like we're getting now....hopefully. A lot of the add ons in her kit could just straight up be condensed. Like all the multiple ways to boost your dash...like....kinda ######### lame tbh.
Of the add ons in her kit theres a few I never even bother using because the effect is meh or I feel broke that day and wanna conserve some add ons.
Workshop Grease: Dogshit never use it because her skillchecks are too easy to hit.
Shattered Syringe: Dogshit add on....why the ######### are you missing to begin with?
Johns Medical File: Meh by itself its totally worthless.
Combat Straps: Again meh ass add on which by itself is totally worthless.
Video Tape: Current version again by itself trash.
Razor Wires: Trash because again, her skillchecks are too easy to hit.
Interlocking Razor: Dogshit add on because again....it doesn't matter how many skillchecks you add, they're too easy to hit.
So thats 7 add ons off the rip that could either be condensed or just straight up deleted.
I would prefer they condense stuff like skill check add ons into 1 add on, so if you wanna be Mr skill checks you can be Mr Skill checks but it won't completely take up all your add on slots so you could maybe run half of 2 gimmicks at one time. So lets say you wanted to be a diver you could run a new add on that combines the effects of combat straps and video tape, and then run 1 other add on that increases the amount of skill checks but also reduces the width of the skillcheck zone. So you'd end up running 2 add ons for seperate gimmicks, but not 2 add ons to make that gimmick ABOVE AND BEYOND. Like say you wanted to only focus on skill check gimmicks you can run a yellow and a green add on that have the same effect stacking reducing skill check zones while also increasing the amount of skill checks. In an ideal world, none of pigs add ons are useless by themselves in any means.

My thoughts exactly. Along with having the 115% movement speed he won't have the shorter lunge either. Its going to be so fun.

Damn I'm kinda scared about the new Torn Bookmark.
I feel like they should cap the recharge reduction so that you can't patch it up with a recharge add-on.

Overall...kinda mediocre except for the charge and speed add ons. Crate of gears and tampered timer both being nerfed at the same time wasn't neccessary IMO, they could have changed 1 or the other and it would have been fine. But both? Bleh...
Ruleset 2 add on rarity change was nice since I actually run some slow down perks to offset people aiming at gens before their timer starts.
Amandas Letter range increase, fantastic.
Johns Medical File, again along with the rest of the dash add ons are great.
The only reason I'm not screaming for joy from these changes is the fact that the most significant change (being the skill check add ons) you can't actually do ######### with these unless you're facing the lowest MMR players in the game. Because nobody past maybe 20 hours in this game can miss a skillcheck unless they're going for nothing but great skillchecks. And in that case, Pigs default skill checks are the easiest in the game to hit. You can't use stuff like lullabye or unnerving to modify these in any way.....so....effectively, these add ons are still garbage....Not because of what they are, but because you can't interact with or modify them in any way with perks or other things other killers use on a frequent basis to approach or make skill checks harder.
And currently we can't even use the video tape on PTB to test anything so thats out the window.
Jigsaws sketch....decent.
Annotated Plan....actually good.
^ Now will any of these make pig perform better as far as traps go....no....sadly...because thats usually my go to playstyle, not a dashy player, but I use it when needed.

Overall though...mediocre. Great changes for dashers, bad changes for trappers since we can't modify jigsaw boxes with perks. If they removed that bullshit rule, I'd actually run those skillcheck add ons and it would at least give me more build options and less boring games for survivors.
Overall though, I think the direction they're going with her kit, is ######### brilliant. Few tweaks here and there and she'll probably be the most fun killer on the roster. Beside maybe Pinhead. Who feels pretty damn good when you get good with him.
