Don't say devs don't care about killers now
Cuz this update is 90%+ about killers. BUFFING most of them.
Can we all agree that devs care for both killers AND survivors now?

Nope, not until killers can place their own hex perks again once they have been snuffed out like boon totems lol.

I think the complaints are more so... the killer nerfs are A LOT, and the buffs are pretty small. They do not level out
Listen, spirit and slinger probably needed nerfs to make them less miserable to play against, but the spirit ones are a bit much, and slinger needed something to compensate for his nerfs. I feel bad for anyone that played them both regularly
Key nerfs are great, but they came NINE MONTHS after mori changes. It's not that the dev's don't care about killer players, but it sure as ######### feels like they care about survivor players a lot more

Spirit was top tier for YEARS now and you're complaining about keys being 9 months later than moris?
And I believe those changes are pretty standard.
Sure, coming down to a B from a S tier might feel huge, but to me, a Plague main, going from a C to a B feels pretty good.
Maybe A/S tier killers can actually learn how to properly play their respective killers without having to rely on their once-broken powers.

The Buffs are minimal. Killers need something else because with the boon totems they are just gonna waste more time.

Boon Totems. BHVR doesn't give a ######### about killers - at all . At this point I don't even think they know the game has a Killer player.

It's not THAT bad. Boon totems' effects are bound to one area.
Hex totems are global.
And ironically, do bones.

Believe it or not, I wanted a spirit nerf to happen for a long time. 1 tell for when she uses her power would be enough. 2 tells is going to knock her down to mediocrity

Plague was A tier before, she's A-tier now after the changes (which are mostly nice QOL that won't make any huge gameplay difference)
Say what you want about slinger but he was nowhere near A or S tier. I never played him but I feel awful for anyone that did. Dude's going to suck ass now

Once broken powers? Sounds like you focus too much on the 1v1 and couldnt play well against them. Deathslinger and wraith was clearly OP and needed nerfing lol

Exept you do bones and they just reactivate it. And that's on top of potentially stealing the killers totem from them so that they have to do their own bones.

They're going to be like hexes.
Do bones = No boons
No bones = Do boons
It's really up to the player if they want to destroy totems or not for BOTH sides now.

Survivors have to do 5 bones maximum as of now. If all 4 survivors bring in a boon totem perk, that's initially 4 for killers to snuff out plus the extra times they are blessed again.
So 5 for survivors, 4-12+ times for killer to do bones. As well as finding, chasing, downing and hooking as well, the killer has much less time on their hands to do bones than the survivors do right now.

They are the worst thing to happen. Dozens of better ideas for boon totems, and the dev's literally dumped in their players mouths.

Survivors have been at the very pinnacle of top tier at every point in this game's lifespan, even when killers were at their most powerful.

Everyone's been suggesting that BHVR give the survivors an additional objective. BHVR gave killers an additional objective and gave survivors infinite undying. Buffs to a few select killers don't equal out to boon perks for ALL survivors.

Considering the number of changes and buffs they clearly are aware of killers. Boon totems are, shall we say very worrying.

And you can't "destroy" boon totems, you snuff them, and then the survivors can just relight them. There is a reason why you can't get Hex perks back.
You have an aura disabling boon perk, and a boon that gives you 90% increased healing without needing a med kit. This literally isn't rocket science sister. Give your head a shake.

That part never changed though.
The whole cleansing totems were a thing before boons came along.
And I remember all the killers shielding hex totems by arguing totems is survivors' "secondary" objective.
Well, now your wishes come true. Survivors will focus more on totems.

I'm repeating this but whatev.
- Hexes are global.
- Boons are NOT.
Boons are confined to a space while Hexes are NOT.
And Undying is going to be pretty useful with this one. I don't get all the panic mode killers are getting into.

I'm pretty sure you are not running around with a generator, and not seeing scratch marks in a 28m radius is a pretty big deal. It's not panic. WE'RE LITERALLY PLAYING IT RIGHT NOW.
Also bless a totem in a safe area, and return at any time for 90% speed self healing. Bless a totem and the Killer has to decide between never catching you, or snuffing the totem to let you go. Then when the Killer can't find you anymore, go back and relight the totem, so when the Killer does find you, you can just abuse it again.
That is entirely 100% nothing but broken. This is literally the worst idea.
If they made boon totems limited sure, no problem. Bless a totem, get it's use, the killer snuffs it, and boom no more perk. That would of been balanced, but instead. It's another thing that the killer worries about, and there is literally NO COUNTER. You decide between losing or losing. Which way to lose would you rather?

Boon Totems are the worst thing to happen to this game in a long time. I wish the PTB feedback would mean something but I guarantee we see Boon Totems introduced into the live game exactly as they are now. I mean, on the good side, I guess the meta is about to change? On the bad side it means all survivors get self-care and have their auras and scratch marks hidden. Oh well. It is what it is.

Its funny that the survivor that is coming in with the boon totem mechanic is getting more use out of the totems than what Hag (the killer behind the totem mechanic) would ever be able to get.
