Speaking from my heart...(no emojis for this one).
I cant believe I have to say this but please be nice to each other.
Don't get tilted over a gg comment.
Don't name call people or use slurs.
Don't use terms like "you people" , "this one", or "McDonalds wifi" There are negative racial connotations to statements like these.
Just say this killer or survivor or bad wifi.
If you get tilted, don't wish something on that person that you wouldn't want to happen to yourself or the people you care about.
Be better and be blessed. Happy gaming in dbd.

What?

What's this? Kindness on the Dbd forums? I, uh, uh.........I don't know how to react!
Even though, it's always welcome! 😘😍

Don't name call people or use slurs.
Me who literally calls everyone I know a twat.
5 -
TOO WHOLESOME TO NOT HAVE A COW INVOLVED
perfect
7 -
So is McDonald's wifi offensive to... clowns...? I don't see any other connection here.
11 -
Kindness in the dbd forums?
3 -
Explains why half the posters here would be bothered by it 😂
2 -
Ronald McDonald is not lovin it. Get that attitude out of his burger joint or risk getting shived by the Hamburgler when you least expect it.
1 -
I dont fear the hamburgler, i have grimace at my back!
1 -
This one has been posted by one of you people on a McDonalds wifi, I bet.
9 -
"You people" I get though it depends on context, "this one" being less bad but maybe needing context.
In what world though is "McDonald Wifi" a racial thing? I've only ever heard that used as a way to describe someone with really awful internet. Even googling it I only get a few articles about some dude who worked there who said a bad word.
I'd really like a deeper explanation on that one.
3 -
But why 🤔 is there no 🙄 emojis 😫?
1 -
I feel like it would be racist to explain why he thinks it is racist.
4 -
LOL.

First world problems I see here, if McDonalds Wifi is your problem - you have no problems
2 -
Thanks 😇 I mean we are just dbd players at the end of the day even if the game tilts us now and again.
1 -
Its saying the phrase...was kind of the point.
0 -
Sorry, but you can't demand everyone to stop using a phrase because it offends someone somewhere. Because literally every ######### word offends someone in some country if you dig deep enough.
3 -
Yeah it is all in context.
The McDonalds wifi comment can be used to dehumanize low income neighborhoods (where most minorities were grouped).
The you people and this one comment is racial in using it as a way to dehumanize...not going to use your name but grouping you all together because of a trait(skin color in this case).
Obviously with context and in tone when it is spoken.
1 -
Awesome thanks 🤣
1 -
I Dont think I demanded anything. I just said be nice.
0 -
Saying "McDonalds WiFi" doesn't make anyone less nice if you want to speak in these terms.
1 -
WAIT WAIT WAIT since when does Mcdonalds have wifi I mean I never eat inside one but still lol i always have used my iphone personal hotspot....oh well

I was just raising cultural awareness so we can be nicer to each other 😇

If someone has a trash connection I’m gonna say they have McDonald’s or Walmart Wi-Fi. Can’t stop me.

In Russia people call gay people "blue". Now, when you are aware of this fact, are you going to stop using the word "blue"?
1 -
I think you're reading too much into the McDonald's wifi statement. No one actually plays multiplayer games on the wifi you get at fast food places or stores or busses (at least I hope), they're poor quality because they all have 50+ people using them at once as well as being wifi.
Also maybe it varies by country but in mine you get McDonalds everywhere. More in low-income areas but still plenty in more bourgie places.

Great message, not very well executed
"You people" and "This one" are not racial slurs..I mean it depends on the context, but why would you think I mean "You people of this specific skin color" when I say "You people" in the text chat of an online game in which I can't see your skin color or even hear your voice?
McDonalds wifi is absurd as well..if your wifi is bad it's bad, I have no idea where you live and which connection you're using, all I know is that you're lagging like #########, so you might as well be playing while you're at McDonalds
2 -
If I am talking to someone from Russia in my endgame chat then yes i am not going to say blue. Thank you for telling me this and raising my cultural awareness 😇.
0 -
I realize that but it is still used as a derogatory insult in any manner...juat as easy to say "your internet is bad"or "your internet is trash" right?
0 -
I still don't really see any racial or class connotations in the phrase but I'll agree to disagree bc I'm getting kinda off topic.
0 -
Fair enough...it is subjective and is different depending on life experiences and a person's upbringing.
Thank you for your thoughts😇.

The OP smells like a massive bait/troll post, nothing more.
3 -
I get what you're trying to say, but damn was it worded incorrectly.
0 -
And then we have this XD
0 -
Very hard to stay nice when the game inherently creates a toxic space.
0 -
What is bait worthy about saying be nice to people?
0 -
That is why healthy breaks are necessary 😇

You make lots of posts about non-issues just to stir up drama for no reason.

Treat people with the same respect you would want to be treated yourself.
I wouldn't want someone to snap at me for calling gg. So i won't either.
That said mcdonalds wifi for me is a bad connection. Nothing more, nothing less. And if you want to see more insulting meaning behind it then with all due respect it doesn't matter to me. I won't change my meaning for yours.
Treating people with respect is a good thing. But if you try to avoid everything that other people might find offensive then the only way you can be a "kind" person is by isolating yourself and never talking to anyone ever again.
Cause the bar of what is and what isn't offensive will keep being pushed out each time you accept a new boundry. This works both negative and positive ways.
Respect is what matters, kindness is a trap that makes you lose your own self.

Here is a tip for people getting tilted.
Just leave the end game chat, no need to stay if you are mad.
Honestly since I started leaving endgame chat asap I've been having more fun

So toxicity in this game is a non issue🤔
