How to report correctly?

Hey Guys, i had a round against a Pig who blocked the basement until my mate died trough the trap on his head. I have recorded that, and i reported the killer ingame, but i would like to know, is there any other report option to send/share my video?

    That's not reportable. If pig does that to your friend just keep doing gens.

    Er I don't think so. By the way that Pig is a tryhard scum and is exactly the reason why survivor isn't as fun anymore.

    Sure it is. All gens are done, he was hooked in the basement and we tried to safe him. Then she blocked all of us in the basement until he died.

    Did she also block you guys to hold the game hostage? Because if not, then it's not reportable.

    yes she blocked all of us, until he died. We couldnt do nothing

    And after he died? If she was still blocking you after he died and continued to block you for a prolonged period of time, then that's holding the game hostage. If she only did it until he died and then stopped, that's not reportable.

    To send video/submit a ticket the support site is https://support.deadbydaylight.com/ submit a ticket using "Additional player report information".

    For general use. Just read the whole thing. That's not really bodyblocking to keep the game hostage so that probably won't go far. Just a sucky thing to do.

    The first step in reporting correctly involves making sure you only report for actual offenses instead of wasting time with false reports.

    Thats no bannable offense, so you dont report at all

    It is not holding the game hostage if there is a timer ticking down and there clearly was.
