The speed reduction hurt but the All Seeing Blood shouldn't be that huge imo. You can still patch up the decreased lunge with add ons.

They didn't bother fixing the issue with All Seeing Blood, they just decreased its range which is dumb. It's still going to be a powerful add-on.
The removal of 0.25 seconds from the uncloak speed boost after uncloaking isn't going to do much, but it's still hilarious on how they nerfed Wraith. "It made him a wee bit over powered"

This was a really soft way of doing this nerf. 8 meters, the survivors can probably hear the snarl from that distance. Also a little less chance of happening on someone

Yeah this actively hurts Wraith's high level gameplay, but like, we already know that's not where BHVR's priorities are.

I was surprised to see that the devs didn't go overboard with his nerfs, although they were still unnecessary.

The speed boost is reset to before patch 4.5 & "AS" - B now has 33% less range.
8 meters is still more than enough range for me.
The change i like less is the reduction of duration on additional speed, but i already loved playing as him before 4.5, so loving his gameplay now isn't an issue.
I don't have any complaints.

Wraith was fine, just certain addons where kinda busted with his new speed but yeah

Ghostfaces only good.add ons are now weaker. Do the math they nerfed him!

not really.if you go green reduction add on rn (as in live version) with yellow, you get a 14 seconds reduction, which leaves you at 16 seconds recharge. since he is no at 24, going green + yellow leaves you at 17, which is only a second of diference. but in exchange, now you can actually not run recovery add ons and go, lets say, extra fast standing stalk or something, Smolface perhaps, while also being able to use your power.

i seriously dont understand why people wanted silent bell nerfed, dear god. its probably the most overrated add on i have ever seen at this point.

They are removing ~20% of his lunge, this means he won't be able to use his power around loops and won't make enough distance in chase. How is this saved? This hurts much more than strong addon nerfs would have.

look, the lunge was nice, but its not unplayable without the extra 0,25. seriously, i have been playing Wraith since i started playing dbd around the time of the silent hill update, and even then, without true invicibility, the speed nor the extra speed boost, his playstyle was the same. i seriously dont mind this.

even then, the amount of stuff that could have gone horribly, this was the best possible outcome. keep in mind hecking no one seems to be smart enough to actually understand how to play against him, those people wanted everything nerfed about him. and i dont mean the people wanting all seeing nerfed, hell, not even the persons who wanted shadow dance or iri clapper nerfed, i mean a person wanted them to nerf him all the way to blind warrior and the ghost soot.

Wraith was mid tier. A mid tier killer is getting nerfed because a few people complained about him in the forums lol.

A part of a killers kit can be unfair without the killer being overpowered. The perfect example of that is Death Slinger. Wraith on a whole is balanced, but the aura reading add-on and the uncloak lunge are unfair parts of his kit.

Yes because it allows Wraith to remove the survivor's ability to mindgame them. Purple add-ons shouldn't make games easy.

It doesn't remove the ability to mindgame, as long as I know the addon never froze the survivor in place. It's a good addon, don't take me wrong, but super overrated. It only works best against immersed survivors and people who don't know Wraith has a lunge.

But why would you bother with those add ons when the tiny benefit they offers still not nearly as good as double cooldown?

You do know Wraith's speed before was 2ms while uncloaking, not 1.6ms, right? And now he's even worse than before.

lets be honest for once, none of us have used any ghost face add ons besides recovery and camera, maybe even crouch speed if we feel like going smolface. we for once can atleast try to stack some of his other add ons and maybe find some other fun thing.

did you know that actually wraiths uncloaking speed never changed because you had to use windstorm? add on which reduced your speed while uncloaking.
