What is the meaning of a Spirit nerf?

So I was watching the Spirit PTB Gameplay and then they changed the chase music (which is catchy), and then if she phases to the grass and then you don't see it since my own eyes was like "Come on, I thought this was a nerf and then I just saw this?" I thought the phasing was supposed to track her by her feet moving but I don't about this and it's getting weird, I swear that this was supposed to be a nerf now and then it's too damn confusing with that logic though.

    The dust particles wheren t ready for the PTB so you just got the directional phasing sound for now

    The visual dust cloud change did not make it to PTB because of time constraints and mixed feedback. You do now hear directional phasing audio and also a lot of her add-ons got replaced though.

    Her phasing sound cue is enough to pinpoint her location almost in every loop. I suggest using headphones if you think theres no cue
