Not sure if this the place for it, but wouldnt running camaraderie/kinship be the perfect counter to this scenario? Not to mention Babysitter/Guardian helping in preventing tunneling? Not gonna just flat out say "no no camping or tunneling!" cause every game forces different strats needed to be used, and that goes for both roles.

Bro, Survivors on Console going Ham with those keys before nerf. My last 3 days are just peeps trying to bring key or burning for more chests so they can find a key 🔑. I’m actually starting to lose my mind. I can’t get too mad though, I remember burning my fair share of Mori before it was too late xD

I think we all know that not all killers camp/tunnel. If the killer however does decide to do so then it's their decision.
But as survivor, while annoying, it's entirely possible to counter face camping and tunneling. Even if you're playing solo. It just takes some extra work. Sometimes it's even fun and exciting to counter camping.
The amount of times me and my SWF sound like we're playing CoD with all of our call outs, yelling, and game planning is actually quite funny. Then if we all manage to escape it sounds like a football party as we all cheer.

Yes, please come and counter my face camping. Everyone. With the power of three survivors, anything is possible. If you run in different direction, I will only be able to down like 2 of you! That makes me lose out on a lot of pressure.

Camping = securing kills/hook states
Tunneling = completing the objective faster
Wouldn't do either if I had more time to play without being forced to rush since time isnt on my side as a killer.
Nobody asks or expects you to stop doing gens so why should killers stop killing?
When you 99 all 7 gens then ill stop camping and tunneling, since ill have plenty of time to play the game regularly.

It's effective, that is why it is done.
It is also, often, rewarded by survivors not doing gennys.
One must remember, that others have the right to sweat just as hard for their win definitions as you do.
Is it fun for both sides? No. Should you care? That is very subjective.
Admittedly, I don't use these tactics, because I have played so long and don't need to worry about getting another 4k.
Have I used these tactics, hell yeah, I didn't get all those 4ks 12 hooking every game.

Let me ask you something. Did you ever said thanks to killers that didn't camped or tunneled? No. But you guys are teabagging at exit gate after genrush in 7-8 minutes. Most of you deserves to be camped and tunneled.

You don't do much about it survivors though. The times when a killer is camping and the other three are round the hook like flys to (bad word). This encourages the killer to stay do you not understand this

Face camping the only actual control a killer has over the match. All other methods rely on survivors making mistakes.

My apologies for the lack of fun you were having. As such, I have updated my builds to run Knock Out and Hex: The Third Seal instead, and blinding add-ons so that I can just slug survivors the whole match instead.

I'll only camp or tunnel if:
- There is one gen left, and I haven't got a kill.
- You are an SWF.
- You click or teabag me.
That said, 'camping' tends to mean 'you patrolled back close to the hook one time' and 'tunneling' seems to mean 'you hooked me twice in the same match'.

Hello, Nathan. I gave this thread a thumbs up because it is so true. Killers just camp and tunnel. It ruins the game for survivors. I wish more killers would walk away and let us go. Like, go camp a generator for a change? The hook is not your objective, no need to hold the game hostage!
