Twins Inspiration
I know there's a lot of talk about a killer "could be" Inspired by this or that but I found the absolute inspiration for The Twins.
Its s2.e20 of X Files. This features a conjoined murderous twin than can freely dis attach and reattach to his brother for comfort/ nutrition. His physical appearance is also very similar to Victor and has the same screech.
Anyways I just felt like sharing. If anyone is interested you can find this on Hulu :)

I remember that.
The way Victor attacks and his situation with Charlotte always reminded me of Basket Case. That 1982 horror movie. Here.
Plot: (from Wiki). Duane Bradley arrives in New York City with a locked wicker basket. After he gets a room at a cheap hotel, the contents of the basket are finally revealed: in it lives his deformed conjoined twin brother, Belial. Although conjoined at birth, the twins were surgically separated at an early age against their will. Belial deeply resents being cut off from his normal-looking brother, & Duane equally resents how heartless everyone acts towards his loving brother.

Yaaa basketcase but its been a decadde since i watched xfiles so i dont remember that episode in fact the only thing i do remember is how creeped out cigarette smoking man made me feel

This movie looks amazing 😭😭😭 He doesn't nestle into his brother it seems tho and he doesn't look as similar as the x files monster. It's worth noting that his episodes got a character that goes by Basket Case. So it's likely more then coincidence :)

Hes amazing! In the 1996 ps1 game, sometimes if you died it would show him near where you died smoking a cigarette amused. But not always :)
