Is killer mmr going to be revisited?😶
First thank you bhvr for the qol patch coming up for most of the killers.
My main concern is will it be enough to entice killers to return?
I cant be the only one getting tired of the long lobby waits. Especially when I can get a couple matches as survivor done in the same amount of time.
There needs to be some incentive to play killer. Lower the mmr for individual killers or make it harder to raise the mmr level.
Thoughts?

Maybe in 4 years. When they get to it.

I think as long as trying to find a match as killer takes long, there should be enough killers playing. Also finding a match as survivor tales like 15 seconds..
There is enough killer players. It’s just this forum with a bunch of people complaining.

Wouldn't long killer queues suggest that the shortage is on the survivor side, not killer?
3 -
Actually the reason killer lobbies are so long is because of sbmm.
With killers pretty much leveling up regardless of what they do, they are forced to wait for high sbmm survivors.

But if killers were leaving the game in significant numbers, their queues would surely still be short regardless of SBMM. Low MMR survivors would have extremely long queues if what you're saying is true but I haven't seen anything to suggest that that's the case.

Not really...sbmm is supposed to match you up with "fair" matches...I am sure there are plenty of low mmr killers.
There aren't enough high mmr survivors playing...the end result is waiting a long time in the lobby and then just placing the killer in the first available match after a while.
It pretty much negates the whole sbmm process. That is why I was wondering if it was being reexamined.

My queue times have gone back to normal personally.

When they understand this game isn't balanced around weak killers they will notice it

What time do you usually play?

During 12pm GMT - 11pm GMT

Bruh this patch DUMPSTERED 2 killers one is Spirit who did need a nerf but not before survivors got a nerf, and Deathslinger who didn't even need a nerf. So no, this will NOT entice killers to return because we can safely assume that weak all the way through balanced killers will be nerfed for the foreseeable future.

I can hope right?
They did say that it'll be on a per killer basis... Didn't they???

My queues are exactly like that, actually.
At least during the night. Opposite during the day.

Hmmmm yes 30 minute of Blight queues

There's something else going on with the matchmaking. The day before I was getting match making times of a few seconds. Since mmr day 1 my times have gone up to as high as 10 minutes and low as a few minutes.

Don’t worry guys, after the mid-patch they will have the new Killswitch feature, the one to temporarily turn off any broken stupid features they added to break the game. Let’s just hit that button immediately, okay BHVR?

for me killer ques are 5 seconds, survivor ques are 5-10 minutes

Aaa late night that explains it😊

Exactly and it is because of how high the base mmr for killer was adjusted.
Individual killer mmr is even more of a joke...it was like 200 points lower than your main killer. If it was survivor then it doesn't matter since survivors have the same base kill set.
Killers need practice if they want to get better with each killers individual power...I would even be fine with an offline bot mode to practice.

I've had faster survivor queue times during the day and the evening. Killer queue times are about 3-4 minutes during the day and 2 seconds at night.
