Why is every single patch so survivor sided?

They dont get any more "strong" perks because exhaustion perks, bt, ds, unbreakable all trump perks that are coming out

5 Years ago the game was incredibly survivor sided... now its still survivor sided but to a more fairer degree. Just please tell me if you aren't trolling... how is this game so killer sided when they intentionally got rid of double pallets, infinites, vacuum pallets to make the god role into a power role instead?

Every minute of DBD that gets played, 80% of that is experienced from the Survivor side. Survivor side has to come first. It's far more punishing for them if killers have elements that are unfun to play against - so they'll always go after the killer side of the game bullishly and take great, great care before changing anything that makes it harder on Survivors.
I suspect the DS nerfs earlier this year were something the devs were having stress dreams about. They knew it had to be done, but the mental gymnastics they were using to leave DS as is was getting absurd. Like they literally argued themselves into a corner when they nerfed Pop for basically the same exact reason DS needed to be nerfed... and the community called them on it so hard.
Fortunately, they seem to have worked out OK.

This patch is really healthy, so survivor sided that mother daughter ring, alchemist's and nurse range (+new very survivor sided extra blink) are still in the game.
As for the op super strong unconterable boon totems i guess you're quite new to the game because you seem to not know the former high quality bait called ash william with his very balanced MoM, those boon totems are gonna stay in the game 1 month till everyone buys the dlc, after that they will be overnerfed, become useless and forever forgotten.

Survivors don't need anything. Seriously if after seeing this you still think it's not survivor sided, nothing can be done to save DbD.
And i'm mainly a survivor.
Imagine being a killer and facing a SWF of 4 survivors with 80% of Ayrun's skill... Ye every trial are impossible to win, even with tier S killers.
Interesting question as devs never really listen to the community : how many killers will be left after the release of the boon totems perks ?

It's really funny how people complain on and on about why survivors use the same perks but then when strong perks come out for survivors it's complained about and is nerfed into the ground. It's so annoying.
We haven't gotten any new meta perks untill now. And chances are they are going to nerf thees perks too

When the game will not be survivor sided anymore, then BHVR can release new meta perks. Fact is that the game is unplayable properly for killers at high MMR.
It's not enjoyable, it's frustrating and totally unfair.
And yet, BHVR continue to give survivors way too strong perks in the current state of the game.

They need to remove SWF from Public Matches- then the game could be truly balanced.

No it isn't Sluzzy, i think you'd say anything to defend survivors endless arsenals of crap second chance perks. Come back when you have perks that turn off the entire trial other than DS.

I have to ask though does this go for killers too. Will they continue to get meta perks while survivors get none?

I'm sorry but it doesn't matter what they put out. Survivor knowledge can allow them to do a lot of things, but DS and BT perks directly interact with how the killer acts and punish them for it. If the game ensured killers had to leave you alone for a while after unhooking, survivors could go perkless and roughly achieve the same results.

META Perks are perks that will carry you to the victory.
Using DS, DH, BT, Unbreakable on all 4 survivors bring them to the victory without even trying.
I don't see any perk that can carry a killer as much.
If you think that ruin, undying, corrupt, pop and tinkerer are meta perks... well, it's a joke as they barely affect the global trial outcome.

I have seen and been in games in which these perks have carried killers to victory and multiple people on this forum would also agree too.

It will be a lot harder for killers when the new update is out. It’ll Make it longer to get into games , lack of killers.
as for trickster I think he is quite powerful I play survivor too.

Killers crying as normal on the forum. Its a wonder how any statistic ever pulled has never shown survivors anywhere near escaping as much as killers killing.

Umm OP idk what your thinking but after 4 years of playing 3/4 of my time playing solo queue and 1/4 of the time with SWF. i got tired of playing Survivor and just recently this year i switched to killer.
I only use 1 gen regression and i 3-4k every game except for that one game every once in a great moon do i face a 4 stack that kick my ######### in.
I can tell you it is killer sided.

this has to be bait if you think this patch was survivor sided lmao the game has been in infinitely unhealthier states, you should know that if you have been playing for 5 years. ive been playing for 4 years and this game is in the best condition it has ever been in

because there are 4 survivors and only one killer. When I go up against a bad azz killer, it dosent matter about this. They simply take everyone out. Sometimes with no gens fixed. Pinhead, Yellow coat guy, nurse, shotgun fool, that idiot with the chainsaw, all can just destroy if they are good. And if they are irridescent, look out.

where is this info? And by the way, what do the horns mean above the iridescent level markers? I got horns and I am not evil. My friends all got the baseball above or a skull.

Trapper Buff
Plague Buff
Key Nerf
Retribution Buff
Blood Favor Buff
3 Blink Nurse
Ghostface buff
Pig Add-on buffs
Survivor Stuff:
Boon Totems which aren’t gonna be run by all 4 survivors once things go live and based on response gonna be toned and I’ll take them over classical DS/UB/DH/BT or Iron Will with the occasional Adrenaline and Spine Chill and will be more situational then the perks above still good
Nerfs:
Spirit but that was wanted by the majority of the community
Deathslinger only thing that’s kinda disappointing but I’m hearing some people saying it’s not too bad

Boon totems are new and most likely going to be nerfed before it goes live.
Flashbang is decent and not meta and any competent killer can counter it
Bite the bullet is decent and doesn't counter nurses so it's not meta
Resurgence is definitely not meta. May save time but i don't see many people using it
Counterforce is definitely not meta and you mostly need another totem perk to get the best out of it
Fast Track is definitely not meta.
And built To Last now is definitely not meta but most likely going to be nerfed when it goes to live.
None of these are meta in the slightest.

Well if we compare it this way, i think it's not far from truth. Otherwise there won't be so much complains about how hard game is when u face decent swf, meta squads or playing m1 killer. Not even talking about tournament level nerds or perks.

I just hate that the "buffs" are in addons that you won't always have instead of to the basekit of killers.
No non totem killer perk buffs, basically meaning there were zero perk buffs since totems usually go within the first 30 to 60 seconds of the game. while non removable survivor perks got crazy buffs. They got the totem buff killer have been demanding for years.

I have not seen any of these perks be used outside of their release week.
With the exception of Bite the Bullet and Built to Last because I run an off-meta hard-heal build on Jake, and I use Built to Last to finish 'fully use up X item' challenges. But that hardly makes them 'meta'.
