If survivors would stop begging for nerfs every single time something shakes up the meta. Maybe you wouldn't see pop and ruin all the time?
An hour ago i saw a thread complaining hoarder is op on cenobite. I said would you rather go back to ruin+undying+tinkerer?

Unironically I want them to gut pop and ruin because then they can nerf the everloving ######### out of Gen speeds too without breaking everything

Surge needs a shorter cooldown and a lot more regression. Corrupt needs to do more then just block gens early on. Dying light needs to trigger the regress effect on all gens on the map each time a survivor is hooked.
Basically buff the other options so we get actual good gen slowdown. Increase baseline regression speeds and nerf ruin. As of currently a killer has little ability to deal with the way survivors are aggresively pushing gens.

You can counter pop+ruin with the same strategy. Spread out your gens in the early game and work together in the late game.

If your taking up a perk slot to fix baseline mechanical issues in the game then you should not be charging me a perk slot. Or are you one of those peole who think 4 survivors spawning far apart next to gens is a reasonably fair start.

Self care is not bad. For killers. For survivors it's an awful, ridiculously overrated perk.

Both of those perks offer the best Gen Regression in the game
.50 charges per second for ruin... but that lasts as long as Gen Pressure and the Totem are active
25% of progress on Pop... But only lasts for 45 seconds and needs a hook
Maybe if the Devs made base regression .50 it might be a little different

Given bhvrs track record, can you blame killers for complaining about potential game breaking perks?
Were you around for Ash's release? Every killer main said MoM would break the game and they released it anyway. Thankfully they patched that in a month.
DS on the other hand took 4 years of complaints to get it fixed. Undying+ruin was patched in 3 months.
The thing that worries me about boon totems is they can be relit an unlimited amount of times yet hex perks are gone forever when cleansed? Killer is already stressed for time. Killer does not need more objectives.

Do I really have to go in depth and explain what I meant by that? I forgot to mention DS btw.
What I meant is that survivors pretty much almost always have a combination of 4 of those 5 perks. It's a rare occasion to see a survivor running 3 of those perks and 1 non meta perk. It does happen but so does it for killers.
And yes, 90% look like the following:
Surv 1: DH, BT, DS, IW
Surv 2: DH, IW, Unbreakable, BT
Surv 3: DH, IW, BT, DS
Surv 4: DH, Adrenaline, BT, Spine Chill (or some other perk)
Long story short: I rarely see anything besides DH, BT, IW, Unbreakable, Adrenaline and DS in my end game lobby. At most I see 1 non meta perk per game out of 16 perks.

i doubt every trial. also. blame the devs on gen speeds flying so fast and in high mmr. that is all lol. how else to slow gens down and try keep some map control also ruin can be cleansed lol

Let me see, who was asking for nerfs to "Lucky Break" when it was at 90 seconds. Notice how it was nerfed to 45 seconds and never used. The buffed to 60 seconds and never used.
Who is begging for nerfs to boon totems. (If Circle of Healing comes out like it current is, will see play about the same amount as Self Care and be about as useful as Self Care).

I'd love to not run at least some gen slowdown perks when I play killer, but some combination of Ruin/Undying/Pop/Corrupt is almost mandatory unless you enjoy 5 minute matches.
I've been working on Adept killer achievements, and watching 3-4 gens fly almost instantly in most games, and seeing multiple Commodius toolboxes, BNP's, and Prove Thyself in so many lobbies drives home the point of how necessary gen regression of some kind is at higher levels. Even games where that isn't being brought in, seeing multiple gens getting worked on at the start of a match so often means games are flying by, no matter how quickly one gets into a chase and a down. Unless a team decides to throw, or meme, or are generally potatoes, no gen regression usually equals a problem if you want to stay competitive (unless you're a high-level Nurse, Spirit, or Blight -- of which, I am none).

I know this thread is taking the piss out of that other one, but it kinda falls flat when 1 of the perks being complained about is turned off 20 seconds into the match roughly 40% of the time.

I assume the developers are going to fix that. It was caused by overlapping circle of healing boons on small maps. It's something bug hunters found and did a video on.

Oh killers complain a lot. Almost as much as survivors. However ive noticed killer complaints take exponently longer amounts of time to get addressed. If at all. Im still waiting for a fix to nurses blink bug since her rework -.-
