I watched the Q&A Stream and I'm disappointed because...
There was no time dedicated to address an issue that many many of us have been experiencing the past month+:
Cheaters.
It was a question that was submitted and I'm fairly certain it was one of the most upvoted ones and yet we still got nothing. No answer, not even a passing mention. It was also being mentioned a lot in the stream chat as well to no avail. This is kind of a joke
I saw the mods in the chat talking about how they don't cherrypick questions and that they only pick the most upvoted ones, I believe them but then why were we not given any kind of mention to cheaters?
What annoys me the most is they'll answer non-questions/unfunny meme questions about shirtless felix but won't even acknowledge something that many of their players are having to put up with right now. I would've taken a "yeah we know, we're working on it" or a classic "SoonTM". Just something
I'll end this by saying I appreciate the time and committment put forward by Giggles, Patrick and Justin. I enjoyed the stream overall even if I am incredibly disappointed by this. I know literally every question can't be answered it's impossible but if the issue of boon totems can be quickly addressed like they were, so can the issue of cheaters.

Yeah. That was incredibly disappointing. FIrst Patrick's reasoning for MMR, and now this.

They basically confirmed what we already knew through the rumours, but I am also slightly disheartened by what Patrick explained about MMR and I'm probably gonna make another thread about that but this is what annoyed me the most about the whole thing. I'm sure many other people share the same sentiment.

Probably because there is nothing to say. If they had a development, I am sure they would have eagerly shared it with us.

Tbh, they always dodge the hot subjects. Like console optimisation promise, when people call them out on it, they just go radio silent. It's the same every time with these devs.

I did not know they did the Q&A. I check on youtube and i vould not find it does anyone know where i can find it im curious about how much of a dissapointment the Q&A is

Overall it wasn't terrible, but the lack of response about cheaters + Patrick's explanation of the MMR system overshadows everything else. It's incredibly disheartening.
Boons were nerfed, if you were curious.

I hope you´re wrong because as it is, it´s unbearable, and I´d like to be able to play killer again at some point without having a 20-25% chance of having a cheater match.

So not substantially nerfed and still a nightmare for territorial/slow killers and still infinite. Pretty much what I expected.

When they talked about the "Steam Deck," they mentioned something along the lines of having to update their anti-cheat to the newest version to make it compatible.
....maybe they should just update it now?

playing dbd with your friends is not on par with using actual cheat clients to ruin the game for people

You can think whatever you like about it, it's not changing the fact that:
- People SWFing are not on par with ACTUAL cheaters
- The developers do not have swfing/using comms listed as a bannable offense
- EVEN IF it were bannable, it would be impossible to moderate it anyway. Are you asking BHVR to start monitoring what software people are using? That's ridiculous.
Please don't come onto a thread asking for the devs to respond to the actual cheater problem and make it about SWF, there's a billion other threads on this forum where it's better off.
