Most of the questions for the Q&A are the same, and that ain't a good thing
Note: Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, so please be civil and understanding. Also, while I would like this post to be taken seriously, don't take it seriously to the point where you are borderline harassing someone.
From what I saw in the Q&A, a lot of people ask the same questions, such as "How will you punish camping and tunneling", "what side do you play most", and "is this game supposed to be (blank) sided", and while you are entitled to your questions and opinions, it can brings down the merit of all of our questions, which really sucks because a lot of other questions are really interesting and cool, such as turning old skins into cosmetics, other licensed tomes, etc. I get it, though, no one likes to get tunneled, camped, dedicated, or have their fun ruined because of another player's rude action. Just please remember the impact that your words have. And, as always, feedback and information is highly appreciated.

Gonna say seens most questions are from survivor side.

The questions i want answered the most have negative votes. Very sad:(

Lets not jump to that conclusion

Mmh lets see on the Q&A

Q&A usually isn't worth watching, just safe questions get put up.

looked at the "Top" questions. first 9 of them since that's how many would fit on a screenshot.
Of these top 9, green represents a technical question, teal a grind question, aqua a balance question, and fuscia a different type of question.
Of these 2 questions on balance, one is advocating for a survivor nerf (from PTB to live, so not really a nerf, but they want boon totems to be toned down/hex totems to be buffed), and the other is asking which characters will recieve add-on passes next.
How incredibly survivor sided.
(I did it for the next 9 as well... nothing survivor sided).

I just wanna know about 60 FPS for Consoles :(

I meant the ones from the first post.I dont even try to read em becuz decs only answers the one they wishes to

No, they answer the ones we upvote, within whatever limits the higher-ups establish.

I know i think the Q&A is kinda shite. I believe i ask a good question but i could not evem find it and the only thing i wanted was to know if they have some plan to give killer multiple loadout instand of having to swich all your perk every time
1 -
How dare you bring up reasonable facts after such a statement??
5 -
It doesn't have many upvotes, which is probably why you had trouble finding it. I just went into your post history and got it that way.

They used to be good when they did the old developer livestreams. Now its just, "we can't talk about that right now" or some vague answer.
0 -
Sad i find that to be a good question and a nice quality of life for killer. Instead we have a bunch of question about the grind and camping and they always say the same answer
1 -
To be fair, many questions we know they can’t/won’t answer get asked and highly upvoted. Something like cross progress for all platforms. We know the answer to that. They already stated it. If there is an update on it they will announce it.
2 -
Or that could be a sign that these things are indeed a problem and the devs still haven't solved them.

Probably because it's the actual questions we want answered. We want to know why the game is so survivor. We want to know why they are okay with camping/tunneling. We want to know what role they play, or if they even play the game (because that leads into answering why the game is so survivor sided).
These are important questions like any other, and are also most often ignored, because BHVR cherry picks the questions.

I agree; I remember Behaviour used my question, but they skipped part of it and then didn't answer it correctly. The questions are safe, and it's just not interesting to watch anymore. You don't learn anything new other than "stay tuned" and more or less the same old talking points. Or they allocate too much attention to questions already answered or those that people can find out online.

From my personal experience QnA are never worth the time watching.
Last year people had really good questions and they picked the worst ones out of the bunch.
There were some golden questions that they decided to skip and went into the "will we have rift cosmetics again" like bruh get some good questions not stuff like that

Sometime in late 2018 🥰

I need a DeLorean then, I think I'm in the wrong timeline.

Well, those are the questions people want to see answered, I don't know what to tell you.
BHVR answers the questions that get upvoted the most. It's not BHVR's fault that a question about Pinhead's voiceline gets more upvotes than a question about hackers. You can blame the forumgoers for that one.

How'd y'all feel about the new QnA? I thought it was mostly terrible, although them announcing a change in the grind was nice (although its only with prestige)

Long and so my fingers hated it

What annoys me the most is people asking things that have arealdy been answered or can't be answered.
Like people asking about pinhead voice lines, they said mutiple times they can't talk about it.

The simple fix there is to not include questions that were previously answered with no change from the original statement.

I can't believe they took time to answer questions about pointless stuff like how they choose characters for the tomes and will we get shirtless Felix.

Questions asked are a result of the current state of the game which is garbage, totally garbage. Haven't get such an awful experience in a game for years.
As a killer, i feel forced to proxi camp and tunnel to win the trial and i hate it.
As a survivor, is see every killer prox camping and tunneling to try to win the trial, the first down survivor having a terrible experience and dying with 5k points.
ATM the game is not fun at all, every one agree on this, even streamers are leaving the boat, they all have enough. Go check some huge DbD streamers, look at their face and tell me if you see enjoyment when they play... They are depressed and they don't have fun, it's obvious.
BHVR has been warned for years by the whole community.
Balance, camp, tunnel and SWF threads have been made for years, the devs have never adressed these issues, no wonder why the whole community is pissed about it now.
I guess we are at a no return point, BHVR won't be able to fix the global game problems (game design, balance and toxicity) fast enough to save DbD.
The playerbase will continue to decrease everyday as it is the case for some weeks now.

Those are the only questions they are able to answer as they have no clue of how to answer the real questions.
When you want to avoid a sensible subject, just choose another random easy subject to divert attention.
If you check the stream chat history on Twitch, it's funny, 99% of the comments are negative, most of them are sarcastic about how trash everything is atm in DbD : Balance, SBMM, Win condition, the speakers... I have rarely seen such a negative vibe on any stream tbh...
And they are smiling the whole time as if nothing was happening... they are so delusional.
Some exemples 🤣:
- "Do you even play your game ?"
- "it's so pathetic you guys are killing your own game NO ONE ASKED FOR SBMM YOU MAKE A GAME FOR THE PEOPLE AND NO ONE WANTS IT"
- "Its not Q&A its just like statements of prosecuted one to make excuses"
- "Who even IS this guy? What a joke"
- "This is the most depressing DBD dev interview I've ever seen. Hope they do consider the feedback at some point and reconsider this apporach."
- "imagine working on a mmr system for months with the condition you escape = win, you dont escape = lose KEKW"
- "This game is going downhill so quickly"
And it goes on and on and on for 2 hours.

With regards to the questions that were answered on the QA Stream - we clearly state on the pinnned post in that category, that we will take the most upvoted question and that we probably can't answer questions about upcoming things. The same was done on our Social Media as we also took questions from there, and again used the ones that were most liked.
We've previously done this differently and taken more general questions that we'd be able to answer, and of course had the same outcry of "we cherry picked the questions" - so by taking the most upvoted questions, we're attempting to answer the questions that we're being asked the most as clearly those are the ones that the Community would like answered, however, some things we're not going to be able to talk about.

Please let me join you. I need to go back to 2018.

Can I come too. I need to have a talk to myself.
And don't worry the shotgun is just for cosmetics choices

I think, and i guess that most of us are the same mind, that there are way more urgent subjects about DbD right now and that the community deserve a clear roadmap on the below subjects :
- When will a deep work be done around balancing ?
- When can we expect a game design that favors playing instead of camping and tunneling ?
- When will we get a strong work to improve performances ?
- Does the dev team is aware of the unfun state of the game ?
- What does the team development think about the current state of the game at high MMR (i.e killers can't win a single trial if they play fair) ?
- When can we expect real changes ?
That's the answers the community needs and that's the subjects that deserve a 2h stream with some streamers invited, Truetalent and Otz for exemple...
The game needs to improve greatly and to go forward, it's not been the case the last years... The community won't follow DbD forever and BHVR takes way to much time to bring changes.
