What happens when the killer closes the hatch? (MMR)

If the gates gets powered and i escape, bc the hatch gets closed, does it count as hatch escape or as a normal escape in the mmr system? Was anything mentioned or not?

    After hatch mechanic explained killer shouldn't close hatch anymore if he cares about MMR since Hatch escape doesn't count as loss or win to either side. Unless u want to risk for 4K and power up gates so survivor can win too.

    Nothing was mentioned that this would be an exception so apply the general rule. If you were to escape through the gate it'd class it as a win. If you were to use a key to unlock the hatch and then escape again, it'd class it as a null.

    You are probably right. Now im thinking about ditching the hatch to get an exit escape. I dont want to care anout mmr, but the possibility of bad teammates frightens me.
