I am tired of trying for adept killer trophies when the survivors just up and d/c if they DC it should count for all hook states towards merciless killer
Having to get 11 hooks (with them getting off each hook) just to get it is maddening
Especially when someone ups and DCs early in the match

Friendly suggestion to wait for the reset. While that won't inherently help your MMR, more people clown around in the early days of a reset, while more people ragequit/take things seriously late in a season.

I know to wait for that back during the rank system I don't think it is the same now with the new system in place

There's nothing which would mechanically make early season easier, I'm just saying the playerbase still seems to have a lackadaisical mentality in early season play - that's just out of limited experience, though. It'll probably take a few seasons of MMR for that to even out.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think there is a mechanical reason it's easier- Merciless Killer is based on the emblem system, which is based on your Grade, so getting Merciless at Ash IV is easier than getting Merciless at Iridescent I, right?
Or did they change that with the SBMM rollout?

Merciless killer for adept was always about your hooks it takes 11 hookings used to be 12 hooks in a game to reach merciless that is why if they went into a 2nd hook state on the same hook it would only count you as ruthless

I get that I am just saying with the new grade and sbmm systems they might not be as lackadaisy anymore

to alone get the iridescent emblem for hooks it is at minimal of 9 hooks, i know exactly how you feel because i attempted and thankfully have completed every adept in the game but you really have to take the time and patience, challenges and trophies are challenges for a reason

I have gotten 9 hooks and it still say ruthless and I have test the games as killers and 11 and 12 hooks seem to be merciless for me anything below that usually just ruthless

You do realize that there are other factors that play right? those other factors plus the hooks is what makes up whether you get displeased or merciless, not just the hooks

You're too focused on 1 emblem. If you're Iri grade it takes 4 iri emblems to 2 pip. Just wait for the reset where you can 2 pip with less.

I have done a lot of factors trying to get merciless even farming but whenever I do I get ruthless unless I hook for 11 hooks maybe it is just busted on console idk but I have gotten 3/4 iridescent emblems just to get ruthless

Its not based on hooks. You must be watching some old Victory cube videos.
To get Merciless you have to 2 pip.

again, it takes more factors than just hooks and you will never get it by farming, you have to effectively play and attempt to max everything out by actually attempting to play the killer correctly, i have videos on my YT Of getting many Merciless victories using no perks or addons if you want a reference

I'm good I have played this game for a long time and I know there are factors I just don't seem to get it unless try for 11 hooks I just think that disconnecting players should still count for some of those factors is all I am getting at

I get it and I don't really need videos I'm just saying I think they should factor in d/cs for some of the factors needed to get merciless because most survivors either are chill toxic or just straight up DC and not give a crap

Only suggested the videos because they were recent and can give you ideas opf what to do in a far more recent appendence in our current update

I understand that the emblems are what are needed for merciless just think that they need to add more factors for each emblem when people decide to DC like not much but enough that it should still be impactful

I think it's possible to get the achievement even if one survivors disconnects. As long as you hook the said survivor 2 times.

It is but when they DC on either first down or on first hook it is annoying
