Reading more on this NFT thing...
Its very possible its fake, reading more into it there's a lot of things that just don't look right.
First of all the "license holders", Boss Protocol. Their logo is literally just a rip off of Boss Team Games. The guys that are making the Evil Dead Game.
Second of all, their official Twitter account was created in late September 2021, a month after the Pinhead PTB. Wouldn't you think this would be created much earlier? For example the official DbD Twitter account was created in Jan 2016, 5 months before the games official release.
Think this might be a thing made to get people riled up, and it seems like its working.

I have high hopes it is fake honestly. I am sure Behavior will confirm it tomorrow....I hope.

I hope it's just a fake troll and not actually BHVR being greedy #########.
But we can only wait until they actually confirm it.
NFTs are full of scams and fakes. Just keep that in mind. That won't stop people from buying them.

I assume they would have mentioned something about it when they had the chance earlier, during the Q and A. Or on Twitter. Anytime, really.

My guess is it's either fake or it at least has nothing to do with selling limited edition in-game content. If BHVR went through all that trouble to get rid of limited edition exclusives only to add in super-expensive limited edition exclusives, that'd just be insane.

To me its looking like a troll

Silence is deafening

It's 12:57AM in Montreal and it's the weekend. They're not going to be putting out any statements for quite a few hours.

We probably won't get an official statement until Monday.

^ This. Someone brought this up late Friday specifically because companies usually don't respond until Monday, giving people 2+ days to speculate wildly. In other words, someone is purposefully stirring up [BAD WORD].

This has to be fake. The sketchy profile, their sudden appearance, the conversation this guy had with a discord member.
BHVR may do questionable things at times, but I could never see them engaging in this type of stuff.
Here’s hoping it’s a troll who’s looking for attention. If not and this is all true, then that’s severely disappointing.

Worst part about all of this is that I can see BHVR doing something like this.
That's how little faith I have in BHVR as a company right now. I've only ever stuck around because I do find this game fun and I want to keep playing it.

Agreed, was mostly pointing out they're not going to be putting out a statement on a rumor in the middle of the night when they're probably sleeping.

Thats completely understandable. Like I said, BHVR’s actions are questionable or even downright dumb. It’s why I quit taking the game so seriously long ago, and took breaks because of DBD’s performance on console.
It’s just.. if they’re really doing this, then no one can expect anything good from them anymore. This company can do better, but for some reason, don’t.
I don’t wanna jump to conclusions yet though, not until something is confirmed.

It's really bad that so many instantly believe this rumor because it doesn't seem that far fetched that BHVR would do something like this. They need to work on gaining back the trust of the players because this isn't the first time and won't be the last people easily believe something bad about BHVR is true without questioning it. There are fake BHVR Twitter accounts basically saying crappy things to people and they think it's actually BHVR Twitter because they aren't paying attention to lack of blue check mark and that it's BHWR instead of BHVR - it's just "that crappy thing is something BHVR would say..."

It had better not be true.
